***** And this one, Josh Davis is also a freakin shape shifter, all these very rare abilities given to people who dont deserve it, and the bad part is, that its just a stupid story.

******Josh Davis is not a crossover charactor. How many of you who complain about the iStory charactors actually read the iStory? And yeah, I did some complaing earlier about Phoenix mimicry, but thats solved.--Ratclaws 22:56, 4 November 2009 (EST)
*Not only are the biographies on Heroes: Survival created by fans (and not show writers), but they can theoretically be changed at any time. We should treat these characters the same way we treat any iStory character. Only list information presented in the iStory themselves. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 22:47, 4 November 2009 (EST)

**Simple solution: just use what is given in the profile when the iStory comes out, and if they change the profile after, we just don't use the new information.--Ratclaws 22:56, 4 November 2009 (EST)

Messages log at Heroes Wiki?

Is it worth it for us to do like the iStory and log the event and faction messages here? They are currently being archived at 9thwonders.com, but I think that they will eventually expire there. Opinions?--MiamiVolts (talk) 02:08, 6 August 2009 (EDT)

Survival images

For some of the new iStory characters that have crossed over from the Survival game, I've noticed that we are using images from the game for the iStory character profile. So I wanted to give some thoughts on that here.
First, it should be noted that, thus far, none of those images has been used in the iStory. Secondly, the images in the game have been uploaded by users of myNBC.com, not the Evolutions staff so they are not canon images so I don't think we should use them. However, if we do use them and know the user that uploaded them, we should credit him/her if it is their image. Finally, if the user uploaded a real-life image of an actor/actress/other celeb, I do not think we should be using it period as it is not fair-use to use that celebrity's image to portray a character he/she and his/her agent(s) have never even been consulted about. Such images violate the myNBC Terms of Service and are likely to be changed or deleted.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:57, 12 August 2009 (EDT)

Survival abilities

Similar to the situation with Survival images, we are using the description for abilities from the Survival game for the iStory character profiles of the Survival characters that crossover into the iStory. I guess that is okay, but just wanted to give people a heads-up that like the images, the abilities section of a Survival game character is completely user provided and not supplied by the Evolutions staff. Said users/players of the game can change it at any time without penalty during the game.--MiamiVolts (talk) 20:05, 12 August 2009 (EDT)

  • Right. I'm getting clarification about this from Joe Tolerico, to see how much of the information they use and how much they don't. For instance, they seem to use a whole lot from Eric Lee Harrison's profile. What does the Heroes creative team consider canon? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:01, 19 August 2009 (EDT)

Survival Characters/Players

Hey. I was just wondering if any of the users have characters that are in Survival? Post below to show support to your character! Josh KorolenkoUTChronicles

Heroes Survival crew

Where should we put crew members who work on Heroes: Survival? Does Portal:Heroes Evolutions Crew work? Any other ideas? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:43, 18 September 2009 (EDT)

  • Yeah, "Portal:Heroes Evolutions Crew" makes the most sense, I think.--MiamiVolts (talk) 20:38, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
    • Good. I think I know who the "Game Master" is for Heroes: Survival. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:55, 20 September 2009 (EDT)

Crossover characters...

I'm starting to think that using all of the information from each crossover character's Survival page is a bit extreme. The writers are including the characters, but aren't mentioning their back stories and neither should we. There can be a note about it at the bottom of each page, but we should really only be listing what the iStory tells us. I know it'll be alot of work editing everything, but at least it'll make everything more accurate.--Riddler 19:28, 3 November 2009 (EST)

  • I think its fine to include, as long as the information stays only on that characters page.--Ratclaws 19:40, 3 November 2009 (EST)
    • Draph and all pages he's included on pushed me over the limit. It's just too crazy.--Riddler 20:02, 3 November 2009 (EST)
      • Definitely. I mean, phoenix mimicry? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 10:04, 4 November 2009 (EST)
