I think it would be useful to have a Drucker-related graphic novel characters portal. The "Drucker arc" cover four graphic novels: The Last Shangri-La, The Golden Goose, Hana and Drucker's Plot Discovered, and The End of Hana and Drucker. Additionally, there's The Man with Too Much Brains, explaining the origin of Matt Neuenberg, which plays a central role in the Drucker arc. Currently, these characters are spread: Drucker and Matt (including his related minor characters) are in Elle-related, a portal used exclusively for them, while Hampton Connolly and Traveler (including his related minor characters) are in Miscellaneous (this is specially strange, since Traveler should at least be a Hana-related). Thus, I think we could create a Drucker-related portal with all the characters related to the Drucker arc, and delete Elle-related (since it would become empty). The portal would include:

How about the friend of Sheila - not important enough? --Joshtek 01:39, 29 December 2006 (EST)
Go for it! - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:42, 29 December 2006 (EST)

Time to split these guys?

nt.--Hardvice (talk) 11:22, 27 January 2007 (EST)

  • I think the split makes it a lot easier to locate a character, and it allows for more growth. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:13, 17 October 2007 (EDT)

Merge

Wouldn't it be easier to merge Sabine, Penny and Donna together in a section under Thompson? DECBOY23 11:57, 24 June 2008 (EDT)

  • As Ryan mentioned above a split allows for more room for growth, and with the Company arc continuing over the summer I think it's best to leave them separate. Normally, we do groupings with related-articles pages and split up character and other portals when they become large enough (not the other way around). We are now discussing the same issue at Talk:Portal:evsdropr-Related Graphic Novel Characters, which was created without any discussion.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:21, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
    • I also said that back in the days when we had only one portal for every character who ever appeared exclusively in the graphic novels. I think decboy23 is only asking for a few of the more recent graphic novels to be merged together. I kind of like that idea, but I'm not a fan of merging them under Thompson, Jr--I like the evsdropr idea. I'll continue my comments at Talk:Portal:evsdropr-Related Graphic Novel Characters. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:35, 2 July 2008 (EDT)

Drucker-related portal

I think it would be useful to have a Drucker-related graphic novel characters portal. The "Drucker arc" covers four graphic novels: The Last Shangri-La, The Golden Goose, Hana and Drucker's Plot Discovered, and The End of Hana and Drucker.

Besides removing some of the characters from Miscellaneous, this has the advantage of grouping all the characters from the same storyline together. Additionally, since the content from Heroes Evolutions (specially corinthianlasvegas.com and Global News Interactive) is also important for the Drucker arc, I think it should be added to the "see also" section of the template. Also, I don't know if it's common procedure for the template to link to characters from the episodes, but I suppose Hana should also be included in the "see also" section due to her importance in this storyline--Referos 16:52, 30 July 2008 (EDT)

Regarding the portal I very much agree! Frankly, I've been meaning to post this suggestion as well, but never got around to it; The Last Shangri-La, The Golden Goose, The Man with Too Much Brains, Hana and Drucker's Plot Discovered and The End of Hana and Drucker form a distinct unit, with Drucker as the common factor.
