** Nope. I took it out. On a related note, we've seen quite a bit of Noah's gun (not his Company gun, but the other one he has), most notably in ''[[Company Man]]'' and ''[[Cautionary Tales]]''. It might not make a bad article... -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 13:44, 29 May 2008 (EDT)

Rename Article

I think we need a different name for the gun, since really, there are two articles about guns, and many other guns on the show. Maybe "HRG's gun" or "AWI's gun"? Or, to be more exact (and this gets my vote) "The Exterminator's gun" (or I guess "Jumpsuit's gun")? Thoughts? - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:22, 27 December 2006 (EST)

  • I just want to be careful about giving the impression that it's the same gun. It might be; it's certainly pretty highly customised, but the AWI could have ordered or built a bunch of the same gun. We need a name that leaves open for discussion whether it's all one gun or whether it's a bunch of identical guns.--Hardvice (talk) 12:31, 27 December 2006 (EST)
    • My Comments: The gun should probably convert into a disambiguation page, or possibly redirect to a List of firearms page to reference all weapons appearing in the show. As for the Association Without Inititals handguns, I'm thinking convert the links to List of firearms#M1911 until we know if the AWI actually has a standard issued gun.

As for Style, I feel the titles of articles for inanimate objects should include references to the owner where possible. Surely there will be many more references to firearms in the show, so we should keep in mind what might be valid for a plot point and what might just be an item that appears for an episode and is forgotten... After all, we're not making pages for Matt and Audrey's police issued firearms... --Orne 15:21, 27 December 2006 (EST)

      • I'm not sure we need a "List of firearms" page, since it's pretty well-covered in Category:Weapons, but if somebody wants to go ahead and make that page, that's fine. As for this gun, can we just rename it to "customized gun" or (the less user-friendly) "1911 gun"? That would keep the number of guns ambiguous, yet clearly identify which gun(s) we are talking about. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:55, 27 December 2006 (EST)
  • So this article is still just called "The gun". There are lots of guns - can we restart the discussion about naming this gun? I like "AWI's gun" or "Exterminator's gun", but if we want to avoid speculating that they're all the same gun, then I vote for "Customized gun". Anybody else? - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:48, 6 January 2007 (EST)
    • I'm leaning towards AWI's gun. It fits the pattern of the other Category:Weapons articles, with "Possessor's weapon". --Orne 09:48, 9 January 2007 (EST)
      • Well, then, we'll go for that, unless there's any objections. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:03, 9 January 2007 (EST)

Cool!

You can read "Infinity" on the side of the slide in Parasite. That settles that.--Hardvice (talk) 02:34, 6 March 2007 (EST)

Too many pictures

This article has a huge number of images. It needs to be cut to about twelve. I'm going to comment some out; I don't know if we want to have an additional page for the full image list. --Ted C 16:01, 13 July 2007 (EDT)

  • I don't mind all the images. The gun(s) is used extensively in the show and makes many appearances. I wouldn't mind a second page, but I don't think it's necessary. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:29, 13 July 2007 (EDT)
    • I added a full gallery. I still think a single gallery on this page is fine, even if it's a bit long, and I don't think we really need to have them all on a separate page. It's nice, though, if we include all those examples somewhere on the site, so hopefully this is a good solution. I don't think we necessarily need trim all our long galleries, though. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:13, 17 July 2007 (EDT)

non-Company issue

> After Noah shoots Elle using his non-Company issue pistol, Mohinder uses the gun to shoot Noah in the eye, as portrayed in Isaac's painting.
