Eden McCain is a former neighbor of Chandra Suresh, whom she called "Papa Suresh" due to her inability to properly pronounce his name. When Chandra's son Mohinder comes to New York to look into his father's death, the two of them become friend. Eden accompanied Mohinder with his research while he stayed in his father's old apartment.
