In talking with her son Santiago, Iris tells him his father used to call Santiago a dreamer.

Webisode:Destiny, Part 3

A serious looking woman tells Santiago that he inherited his ability from his late father, that his father used to work as an assassin for the organization she is with, and that he always got his mark.

Webisode:Destiny, Part 4

Edward sneaks up on the serious looking woman using his ability. He lets her know he faked his death and that he knows she has broken an agreement they had to not involve his family. Edward then uses another aspect of his ability to create a large ball of lightning that he directs at the woman, causing her to collapse onto the ground. Edward then notices his son is watching him, so he walks over and hugs him.

Evolved Human Abilities

Edward possesses an ability that allows him to do several things. Like his son, Santiago, Edward seems to be able to run super fast and to see possible paths ahead of him. However, Edward can also discharge a form of lightning in the shape of a ball. The exact nature of Edward's ability remains unclear.

Notes

• According to the casting call, Edward is in his late 40s to early 50's. He is a "Hispanic male. Distinguished, handsome, fit. A man who once was an assassin for the 'Company' but now has to fight them for his family's well being, especially for his son Santiago."
• According to Santiago's Create Your Hero profile, Edward fought in the Peruvian civil war. However, it also says that he died during the war, so the validity of the claim is suspect.
