Quality

• The quality of the art was great again... though I would have released this novel before History of a Secret, as that novel was definitely more interesting to read. There was a lot of good character buildup of Ryan in this novel, so I hope we get to see him again. Maybe he'll turn out to be an evil dream manipulator...kind of like the Nightmare man, but without the daydreaming ability. That said, I was hoping to find out Ryan had an ability at the end of the novel, but didn't get any concrete evidence he did, so I finished reading kind of disappointed.--MiamiVolts (talk) 05:34, 11 March 2008 (EDT)

• Technically, Sanjog's ability was the one being illustrated in this novel, but as I mentioned above, I agree with you about the disappointing ending, Heroe. Hopefully, they'll be a part 2 for this novel. Assuming they give him an ability, I think he'd make for a good villain.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:41, 11 March 2008 (EDT)

Fan submission...really!

I had to wonder whether or not the dream submissions at activatingevolution.org really were from fans or whether they were written by writers under pseudonyms. Describing Pieces of Me, Joe Tolerico said, "This story is a novel based on a fan dream submission sent to the Activating Evolution Dream Study." I'm taking his word for it. I guess we should read Pieces of Me as a clever piece of marketing to drive fans to activatingevolution.org, then. I don't have any confirmation, but I would expect more dream-based graphic novels, and probably more Sanjog. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:41, 11 March 2008 (EDT)
