- 5/9/08 -- She's not just fast. She's very fast. Meet Daphne, the speedy new character on NBC's "Heroes," who plans to give the show's superhumans — especially time traveler Hiro and his sidekick, Ando — a run for their money when she debuts on the popular NBC series' upcoming third season, which went back into production last week. - 7/2/08 -- Harrison Wilcox posted at 9thwonders.com that he wrote an upcoming graphic novel series, The Kill Squad. He also notes that he expects the first part to be released on Monday, July 7, 2008, and that Michael Gaydos did the artwork with colors by Chris Sotomayor. In Berlin, Part 2, the message "Palmer, West Virginia, Proceed" in Gael's hotel room, is an Easter egg that relates to the novel.
- 6/11/08 -- Jason Badower reveals on his blog that he used four of the new Peter Steigerwald character designs in the Root and Branch graphic novels, so there is a good chance some of the new characters in the novels could be cast in the show.
- 6/5/08 -- An NBC competition allows users to select and vote on a new face for Penny, who will be appearing in an upcoming graphic novel. (NBC.com)
- 6/3/08 -- According to Sci-Fi Wire, Frank Mastromauro, executive vice president of Aspen Comics, told fans at the Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con that Peter Steigerweld designed 12 new characters for Heroes, and that they would all be debuting this summer. He added that towards the end of the summer, there would be a vote and those characters who get the most votes could wind up making it onto the show.
- 4/10/08 -- An interview with Chuck Kim, available on EW.com, reveals that the online novels will focus on a group of evolved humans who are agents within the Company, including "the mysterious Donna Dunlap"; Thompson's son, "a young guy without powers who's currently being dubbed only as 'Thompson Jr.'"; a mother-daughter team; an engaged pair of agents; and Felicia, who trains recruits.
- 4/9/08 -- Chuck Kim has announced a 5-month long story arc involving company agents. "We'll basically see the story through the eyes of a new recruit," Kim adds. "We'll also be examining the relationship between—for lack of a better term—the human agents and the ones with powers, and the dynamic that creates within the Company." Plus, "We'll learn that there's someone within the Company who's trying to bring it down." ([1])
- 3/6/08 -- David Wohl has written a second graphic novel. As of today, it is in the illustration process.
- 5/7/07 -- According to Aron Coleite and Joe Pokaski, Sparrow Redhouse will continue to appear in the graphic novels before eventually appearing on-screen. (comicbookresources.com)

- 7/10/08 -- NBC has announced the names of the subsequent parts for Going Postal, and provided descriptions for all three parts:
- In the first webisode, "A Nifty Trick," to be released at 3PM EDT on July 14th, Echo DeMille, an everyday mailman, discovers a startling ability that quickly makes him a target.
- In the second webisode, "The Houseguest," posting on July 21st, Echo races home to protect his girlfriend Gina, and finds deadly uses for his new ability.
- In the third webisode of this installment, "Let's Talk," which posts on July 28th, Echo sends Gina off to safety while he confronts his enemies, but the tables turn with an unexpected twist.
- 7/7/08 -- The first preview trailer for the webisodes contains several scenes:
- A mailman denies to someone that he has an extraordinary ability.
- The mailman enters a home to find his girlfriend Gina waiting to make-out with him. He tells her that there are sounds that he can make, and he thinks he used them to kill a guy.
- Two men come into the mailman's home, and say they just want to talk. The mailman says they're going to listen. Suddenly, his girlfriend covers her ears inside a car, and you see a man's legs running down a sidewalk.
- Several scenes then flash quickly:
- In an inverted image, a bald man (the one from the Webisodes portal) and Gina appear to glow.
- Angela Petrelli walks down a hallway.
- A large Doberman Pincher (dog) growls.
- The mailman appears to try and choke the bald guy with two hands to the throat.
- The mailman appears to have been captured and strapped down in a chair with a device gagging his mouth.
- The mailman screams loud to ultrasonic proportions.
- Angela Petrelli puts an index finger to her mouth and shhes.
- 6/26/08 -- In a TV.com interview, Tim Kring notes that there will be 3 webisodes in July (e.g. one per week beginning the week of July 14th, 2008) during which a new character will be introduced.
