Heroes will end with an eclipse.	None.	+ Heroes began with one, so it seems right to end with one.
In Volume Three, the eclipse will be the catalyst for the final conflict between the heroes and the villains.	None.	+ Usutu says: "Evil forces gather. The dark sun rises. Soon, it will be too late." (Eris Quod Sum) "Dark sun" appears to be a reference to an eclipse. - It's possible that it was a play on words and 'dark sun' really meant 'dark son', referring to one of Arthur's children (likely Sylar). + Closed captions for the episode read "dark sun". + It is possible it could be a double entendre; Usutu's words could refer both to the eclipse and Sylar. - Sylar is turning into a good guy and Peter into a bad one. Sylar turns away from his hunger. Future Peter in all futures has been an anti-hero and may have done things in the category of a villain(even if he meant well). His scar is also a sign for evil since many villains in comic books are mutilated or at least scarred to match their personality. + Arthur and Usutu both paint images of the eclipse.
There are two types of eclipses. One activates powers while the other one takes them away, but does not affect synthetic abilities. The eclipse that is now coming, will be a Total Eclipse - one that completely blocks out the sun. - In The Eclipse, Part 1, the eclipse strips Nathan of his ability, which is a synthetic one.

The ability loss apparently caused by the eclipse will only last for the duration of the eclipse itself.	None.	• All characters who have currently lost their abilities are known to still possess them in the future, so they must somehow regain them. The sun is possibly the power source for abilities, but several characters possessed them in Six Months Ago, so it is unlikely that the eclipse itself granted them. Are there any examples of a character using their power DURING a prior eclipse? + Hiro stopped time during the 1671 eclipse didn't he?
The Moon is not the only thing causing the eclipse to occur.	None.	• The eclipse appears to be a total or annular on opposite sides of the planet (New York and Tokyo) on the same date. Considering the total duration of a total, annular or hybrid eclipse this would be an unlikely event.
The eclipse that strips the powers away, is actually a resetting eclipse.	None.	+ When the eclipse is finished, all powers might be restored, even to those who have lost them prior to the event (Maya and Peter), but will reset every ones abilities, for example Peter, Sylar and Arthur will no longer have all the abilities that they had previously acquired from others.
