Fallout
After Isaac leaves Primatech Paper Co., he stays at the Midland Motel. Having seen the prophetic nature of his sketches, he attempts to paint the future again without using heroin. Encouraged by Hiro, Isaac creates a painting of Hiro, brandishing a sword against a large dinosaur.
Once Upon a Time in Texas
At the Burnt Toast Diner, Lauren Gilmore hands Noah a motel key and invites him to stay a night with her at the Midland Motel.
Later, Lauren is in the hotel room drinking alcohol when Noah comes in. They discuss their relationship and Noah wants to keep it professional. Lauren agrees, and the two get back to work.
