Memorable Quotes

"Do not pull a Roger Clinton on me, man. I'm eight points down in the polls."

- Nathan (to Peter) (Genesis)

"Yes, I know you! Nathan Petrelli. Election. You win! Very big win! Mud-o slide-o."

- Hiro (Hiros)

"Two million dollars makes me a candidate in your pocket. Four million makes me a congressman."

- Nathan (to Mr. Linderman) (Hiros)

Trivia

  • After Hiro gets a ride back to the Montecito Casino from Nathan, Hiro leaves the limo wearing a "Vote Petrelli" campaign button. (Hiros)
  • Nathan jokes to Hiro, "Vote early, and often." This reference is often attributed to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, but was actually said by Al Capone.
  • Nathan is running for the Congress in the 14th District of New York. Though his opponent is not yet mentioned, in reality Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney currently holds the position. However, in Trial By Fire, Sheila refers to his opponent as "the other guy," so presumably Nathan's fictional opponent is a man.
  • A campaign ad video for Nathan can be accessed as an Easter egg in one of the graphic novels.
