Deja True!
I noticed that on an earlier talk page someone mentioned that this season is mirroring things that already happened...just thought I'd point out Sylar in this episode and Peter in season 2, both of which had:
- amnesia
- quickly greeted by a young woman
- discovered they had abilities by tossing someone across a room, spitting bullets from their abdomen, and using electric manip.
- amnesia
....does anyone else see this...creepy huh?--Anthony Gooch 21:19, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
- One little thing reminded me of the past; Sylar's hair being reminiscent of Peter's from season 1.--Halfxwitted 22:06, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
- Whoa! Nice catch! I think you're right about that! But I don't think his hair was like Peter's. Peter had that long emo hair strand. Sylar's hair looked more like Gabriel Gray's; combed back and clean. It's just symbolizing that he's a 'good guy' at the moment.--Kooliki 23:49, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
Dr. say whaaat?
Did I hear Dr. Collidge say that Emma is her daughter?...I heard that, right?--Anthony Gooch 21:27, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
Carnival Scene at the begining
I think Sabine Hazel could have been the woman with the baby there.--WarGrowlmon18 21:49, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
- Except for that the lady with the baby looked to be pretty young, I would totally agree.--Gibbeynator 21:51, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
Lead image
Considering that hysterical blindness is really a conversion disorder where people are seeing things (or not seeing things), I think Claire's storyline would be a good one to use as the lead image. A few choices: when Gretchen kisses her, when she looks out the window with Becky standing right there, or when Becky purposely knocks over the books and Claire is in the background. Any thoughts? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:03, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
- Of those three, I say the 2nd of those. However, think any of those would be a little too spoilery (meaning the the image gives too much away about the ep). I cant think of the ep off the top of my head, but I think the initial ep lead image on an ep in a season prior was promptly changed due to it being too spoilery. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 00:24, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
- Good point. Another direction to go would be Peter seeing the colors. Perhaps Emma and Peter playing the piano together? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:42, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
Shape Shifting Revertation
In the interest of sparking a friendly debate, why did Sylar (as Nathan) revert to his original form after being "killed" (shot to the chest) and burried; yet the original shape-shifter, James Martin, kept the form of Sylar when he was killed? My only explanation is it boils down to Sylar's powers instinctively restarting/taking over, but I don't know why that would force him to change his form. It seems kinda deus ex machina to me.--Halfxwitted 01:05, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
- I think the difference is that Sylar can regenerate. James Martin couldn't. My bigger question is why did Peter absorb Emma's ability without "trying to", but he didn't absorb Samuel's when he touched Samuel. Hmm... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:08, 13 October 2009 (EDT)
