Matt asks Molly to locate the "nightmare man", and she pinpoints his location to apartment number 9 in a building in Philadelphia.
Matt and Nathan pay a visit to Maury's apartment. They barge in, and Matt handcuffs his father. They find a photograph of Maury with the Symbol on it in red. Maury then inserts them into their own personal nightmares — Matt is imprisoned having abandoned his child, and Nathan fights his own disfigured reflection, against the backdrop of New York after the explosion. While this is going on, Maury leaves his apartment. Eventually, Matt inserts a thought into Nathan's head and the nightmare is broken.
