Character history
Run!
After missing a call from Mohinder Suresh, Zane returns the call, sounding distressed. He is later visited by Sylar who claims to be Mohinder. When Zane invites Sylar into his home, Zane shows his guest his ability. Later, when Mohinder actually arrives, Sylar answers the door, wearing Zane's clothes. When Mohinder asks for a DNA sample, Sylar swabs Zane's corpse's mouth.

Zane Taylor has the power to melt matter by touch, without raising its temperature.
