Talk:Luke Campbell
According to Ausiello, Dan Byrd plays a guy named David, not Luke. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:01, 13 December 2008 (EST)
- If his name is David, maybe he can be David Berman. Or maybe, Dan Byrd's character will only appear in flashbacks, and he is the same David that Sylar killed in Chicago. User:ArgentinaSeeHeroes 15 December
- Can I change it back to David then? -- Tristan0709 talk 21:37, 2 January 2009 (EST)
- Its seems this character is an apprentice of Sylar, according to Tim Krin's interview, and the character is all excited for the fact Sylar is so evil, he wants to become one--Manwithnoname 17:26, 14 January 2009 (EST)
hey afterwards his real name is luke well at least we no longer have any confusion spoiler --Manwithnoname 17:46, 23 January 2009 (EST)
- you know, Microwave rays is redundant as the rays are microwaves. --Max G. (T) 17:37, 27 January 2009 (EST)
- "Power to emit "microwaves" just made me think of him pulling microwave ovens out of his stomach =S Anyway is his power like Ted's except more like a projectile version?
- That and it doesn't give you cancer, though Ted once implied he could shoot radiation, as in long range. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 09:52, 12 February 2009 (EST)

- SYLAR: "Look Luke i'm your Daddy"
- LUKE: "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES"
--Manwithnoname 07:36, 11 February 2009 (EST)
wud sylar get luke's ability by perhaps using empathy??
- That is actually a really interesting thought.--Crazylicious 18:20, 11 February 2009 (EST)
- That'd be cool, but I only see it happening (at least with more certainty) if it turns out that he and Luke are related. I dont think Sylar has enough good in him to leave Luke alive in the end if he isn't. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 21:06, 12 February 2009 (EST)
- He's already left Luke alive... he knew Luke had an ability, and he knew (or he believed) that Luke wasn't of any use to him. Yet he spared him. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 21:17, 12 February 2009 (EST)
- Sylar's still got a chance to kill him before they part ways and/or Luke becomes useless to him. Right now Luke is still usefull as he knows/thinks he knows where Sampson is. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 21:43, 12 February 2009 (EST)
- To reiterate, Sylar initially believed that Luke was of no use to him. Sylar had no idea that Luke knew anything about Samson. Despite that, Sylar let Luke live. He even let his mother live. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 22:58, 12 February 2009 (EST)
- Im not thinking about last ep here, Im talking long term. From the top: A few eps down the line, if/when Sylar finds his father, I think it's unlikely that Sylar will let Luke live, or use the empathy pathway to absorb Luke's power if he wants it. His actions last ep, he had more incentive to let them live (what it was I cant tell you). With Luke now estranged from his mother, there will be less incentive to let him live and use empathy to absorb Microwave emision once Luke has lead Sylar to Sampson unless Luke turns out to be related to Sylar. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 01:11, 13 February 2009 (EST)
- I don't think Sylar's so motivated by gaining power anymore. Sure, he killed Joe Macon, but what was his power? A xerox machine? It was more practical than powerful, and perhaps that's the only reason why Sylar took it. That, and Macon refused to cooperate with him. Hence why I don't think Sylar would kill Luke at all, at least not for his ability. Secondly, Sylar still has some humanity left. His emotional display at the end of Dual confirms this. I think it's entirely plausible he could develop an emotional bond with or some sort of attachment to Luke during their adventures, which would lessen his resolve to kill him. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 10:17, 13 February 2009 (EST)

Relation to Sylar
- It was made obvious that they have the same father in Building 26. Bloodbath 17:10, 17 February 2009 (EST)
