Sullying your virgin talk space
So my computer crashed last weekend. I know, sob sob, it's okay. But the good news is I have all new, um, everything. I'm loving Firefox 2.0 (yea spell check!) Two quick questions, though. First, I'm not able to use the alt functions now (for instance, I can't patrol using alt-p, or upload using alt-u). Any way to turn this on, or any remedies of which you know? Second, I somehow lost my picture editing program, and can't remember what it was. Is there a good free one (yes, I'm a cheapo) I can download? Thanks! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:26, 1 March 2007 (EST)
- I hope you used the Firefox link at the bottom of the wiki, Ryan. :) As for photo editing, if you want something simple try Picassa. There's a link to that at the bottom of the page, too. :) If you want more power, I like the GIMP. Free, open-source... and has a Windows version for you people still stuck on Windows. :) (Admin 21:48, 1 March 2007 (EST))
- Thanks, I'll check it out. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:49, 1 March 2007 (EST)
- I dunno if that was a typo or not, but all of the alt functions show up as Alt+Shift+(Letter) on mine, not Alt+(Letter).--Hardvice (talk) 00:14, 2 March 2007 (EST)
- Actually, it wasn't a typo. On my old Firefox, it was just alt+letter. Including shift works like a charm. Cheers! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:21, 2 March 2007 (EST)
