She may be able to develop her power even further and be able to choose who she affects.

Since Maya is going to an area that is also not central to the main plot, it is possible she has been written out as well. - Unkown Theory: In the next three episodes, It's Coming, The Eclipse Part 1 and 2. It's believed that all the evolved humans will lose their power, while the opposite will happen to those who lose theirs before the eclipse, they'll gaining them back, including Maya and Peter. - Dania Ramirez(Maya Herrera) is still "Starring" in the opening credits of Eris Quod Sum, instead of "Guest Starring". - Maya is in the every poster of Heroes: Villains.
