Character History
The Second Coming
Outside the St. Joseph's Hospital of Odessa, Bruce talks about Nathan's miraculous recovery, and gives his current status report. When Nathan exits the hospital and walks into the adjacent chapel, Bruce tells his crew to follow him inside. After Nathan talks about God giving him a chance to do his bidding, Bruce reminds Nathan that he was about to deliver a statement earlier and asks if he would like to try it again. As Nathan talks about God's message, Bruce's camera crew films him.
Notes
- Bruce Evans appears as an Odessa reporter in the alternate ending for Powerless, as seen on the Season Two DVD. The ending--and Bruce's role--were cut due to the 2007 writers strike. However, when actor J. David Shanks (who had already shot the cut scene) saw that there was a reporter needed for The Second Coming, he had his agent ask if he could reprise his role.
