Greg Beeman

I love the art in this novel. I know some of the drawings are a little screwy, but I really like how non-traditional looking it is. It's very artsy and less polished than your average novel. Greg said he was given no guidelines, just to do something that went with "Shades of Gray" and I think he picked an excellent topic and really added to the show with this one. Maybe he'll get to do more, not that he's not already busy enough!--Mistyjo 07:03, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

  • I totally agree, Mistyjo. The art is raw and visceral, and it does its job--it portrays a great story. How cool that Greg got to write the story, too! (First time that's ever happened!) I'm glad that the creative team decided to indulge his wish to draw professionally. Afterall, Greg indulges the fans week after week with a consistently interesting, details-laden (and photo filled!) blog. Good on Greg. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:03, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
    • Honestly, I thought this was the best artwork in a novel, I mean I love Jason Badower but this is great, I hope he does more --IronyUTC CH 12:23, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
  • I love the art too. And the story is great too. Those sad faces full of tears were really shown well!--Alen (talk) 12:54, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
  • WORST. DRAWING. EVER. --Lolwut 13:04, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
  • I gotta admit, as skeptical as I was at the first page, this was a wonderful GN. Glad to see Rachel using her powers (and for good, at that) again. I had been wondering why in the world Doyle, of all people, would need a cell phone. Really. Nobody loves him. :P Kortu 13:52, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
  • The only gripe I have about the artwork is that I didn't even realize that was Rachel at first. Otherwise it was awesome, props to Greg Beeman. --Whizzles 14:18, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
  • I gotta say, I didn't like the artwork here at all. Everything looked so distorted and grotesque, it almost hurt to look at. I just thought Greg Beeman can't draw. Also, since when is Rachel's hair red? Wanderer32 16:26, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
  • I must say it is worst ever novel I ever read. Didnt like the way artist drew. It puts me off. Hopwas2007 18:11, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
  • Totally agree. I mean it was really painful to read, this is the only novel in which i wanted to get through it as fast as humanly possible. Their faces look so disjointed and unnatural... --Lolwut 15:49, 13 March 2009 (EDT)
  • I didn't like the art, he makes Eric Doyle look like Humpty Dumpty! I liked the art in Blackout --Isaac Mendez 16:38, 1 June 2009 (EDT)

Danko's henchman

Isn't that Jason? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:34, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

  • My mistake for not making the connection. --Radicell 09:06, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

David sullivan

If I am not mistaken did David not appear as the man Doyle saw animal like in the wood? And on a side note I think Claude may be appearing in a Graphic Novel soon as Danko said that they were going to follow a lead on an invisible man. --posted by Laughingdevilboy Talk 13:50, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

  • That was Sylar. David was at Pinehearst. Also, thanks to the errors of the S3 writers in the scenes where Meridith and Flint were first captured, there are now two invisible men running around lol. Maybe we'll meet the other sometime... :P Kortu 13:59, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
    • I don't know, I haven't seen the other invisible man.  :)--Cro Magnon 14:03, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
      • I think you could be right, however it does say on the Graphic Novel that '...two months ago when Pinehurst burnt down...' --posted by Laughingdevilboy

Talk 14:15, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

        • In Shades of Gray, Doyle told Claire that Rebel sent a fake tip to allow Eric to escape. -- Psilaq R.- \m/ -_- \m/- 15:30, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
          • Wasn't that to escape from Claire's house? I think there has been a mistake made, if you look on the page where Doyle says he escaped on one box it says pinehearst and on another The company. Also he says he saw someone if it were sylar wouldn't he of said Sylar? Plus he does mention the animal eyes. I could be wrong but I do think that it fits Davis better than Sylar. --posted by Laughingdevilboy

Talk 16:20, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

            • David died when Rachel stabbed him with scissors. It was probably a writer's error. Like the invisible man attacking Flint. --Peter 17:15, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
              • Oops, I feel silly lol, I totally forgot that he was stabbed. Oh well bang goes my theory ;) It must be Sylar then lol. --posted by Laughingdevilboy

Talk 17:19, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

Doyle says he escaped from the burning Pinehearst. What in the world does this mean? The building shown behind him looks like Primatech.--Altes 07:47, 13 March 2009 (EDT)

I've noticed it, yeh it writes "Pinehearst" really, instead of "Primatech". Most probably, it should have been a mistake, a confusion. --Janrodrigo 07:58, 13 March 2009 (EDT)
  • Primatech. Pinehearst. "Pinatech." It's really gotten confusing. I suppose even Beeman makes mistakes. --Mohinder613 (my talk page) 11:55, 14 March 2009 (EDT)
    • Let's burn the novel with Primatech, Pinehearst or whatever it was.
      • I actually thought it was a pretty good chapter. I like the ones that involve characters that we do see more of on the show. Meaning: I don't really like it when we explore the lives of people that we've never seen before and will probably never see again, when we go on hiatus and such. However, I suppose I don't "hate" any Heroes graphic novel. --Mohinder613 (my talk page) 20:43, 14 March 2009 (EDT)
        • I totally agree with you Mohinder :) --Janrodrigo 04:33, 15 March 2009 (EDT)
          • Actually both buildings burnt down the same night, so "that night Pinehearst burnt to the ground" is correct! And "maybe Rebel was watching me" is the interesting part...--Juba 05:54, 15 March 2009 (EDT)
            • Yes but, Doyle wasn't near anywhere Pinehearst that night. So, if you read again the novel, you'll see, it's clearly a mistake. --Janrodrigo 06:25, 15 March 2009 (EDT)

  • Do we think the girl he raped with Meredith? Of course it's too speclative to say, but the history between Doyle and Meredith has been relveaded at all, except that he "loved" her, and she afriad of him. --Isaac Mendez 16:40, 1 June 2009 (EDT)
    • You mean "is" Meredith right? Not her, she died when Primatech came down, that scene with Doyle happened after the building collapsed. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 17:30, 1 June 2009 (EDT)
