Thoughts
Great novel, and I can't express my love (ah, well...) for To's art! All though I haven't followed the iStories, I think the novel works great without that insight. And a good exit for the Squad as well! Anna might be a good character, or she might be another Maya... remains to be seen...
Krul's is good at character portraits and describing emotions as he has proved before, (he did great job with Brian, Kimiko, and Ryan Covington) but IMO this was the first time that he also has proved that he can be good story teller as well.
A great uplift since last week's novel.--Pierre 09:39, 23 December 2008 (EST)
- Did this event from the graphic novel happen before or after the events in the istory?--Alen76 23:13, 23 December 2008 (GMT)
- After. This is (as stated at the end of Chapter 6 of the iStory) its two-part conclusion. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 17:22, 23 December 2008 (EST)
- Because it's a two part conclusion, I think it's a little early to draw that conclusion. This first part could be a dream Anna has of what she doesn't want to happen or a flashback to a time before the Rowland dam incident where she thought she had helped Red Eye kill them all off but they really had just gone unconscious (aren't they wearing armor in the iStory?). Since there really is no time reference specified, I'd wait till next week to be sure that's what the message meant.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:42, 24 December 2008 (EST)
