|First appearance||Dark Matters, Part 1|
|Occupation||Student at South Western College|
Rob has made an "attempt video" demonstrating his ability. Part of the video is spliced into HeroTruther's broadcast. In the video, the guitarist sits outside with his guitar and talks to the camera. He holds up five fingers, indicating that he is filming his fifth attempt.
Rob attends the pro-evo rally at South Western College, happily playing his guitar while floating above the ground. When the rally is interrupted by an anti-evo counter-protest, and Phoebe Frady turns the streetlights off with her ability, he falls to the ground in surprise.
Footage of Rob's "attempt video" is spliced into Channel 6's "Odessa Report".
Rob has only been seen using his ability at the pro-evo rally, calmly floating a few feet above the ground while simultaneously playing his guitar. This floating is consistent with the floating demonstrated by others who can or could fly, such as Peter Petrelli and West Rosen. However, his surprise at Phoebe deactivating the lights around him caused him to clumsily fall to the ground, indicating that he might not yet have full control over his ability. It is so far unknown if he can fly greater distances, maneuver in the air or go supersonic like others who have this ability.
- This character was only credited as "guitarist". He says his name during his "attempt video" video, but it's barely audible. In an interview, director-producer Tanner Kling revealed that the character's name is Rob Brewer.
