Does anyone know why Janice was written out? Was it a conflict with the actress or a decision made by the producers or something else? -- Simply Agrestic 09:58, 28 September 2007 (EDT)

  • She's "written out" in the same way that George Takei was written out. The storyline may have somewhat come to a halt, but that does not mean the character won't be back. Read Greg Beeman's blog--he says that one of the interesting things about Four Months Later is that the stories generally pick up four months after the explosion, with barely an explanation of how the characters got into the situations they're in. More information will come up soon, and I think the title of episode eight gives a clue as to when we're going to find out the answers some pressing questions. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:21, 28 September 2007 (EDT)

Hmmm

  • So ... Janice's (and Lisa's) pages need to be updated for season 2. Problem is, she was a supporting in Season One and will be a Guest Star/Minor character in season two (per GG, she isn't scheduled to appear through at least ep. 10). Is it OK to just demote her? Child

Should we have a page for Janice's child (son?)? I do realize that placing the info under Matthew would be too speculative, but this character has had one appearance, a couple references, and will probably play a role in the future (if only in references).--Tim Thomason 02:23, 25 October 2007 (EDT)

  • I wouldn't mind a page, but remember, that wasn't really the baby who appeared in Fight or Flight, it was Matt's nightmare, as controlled by Maury. Recurring?

Should Janice be classed as a recurring character for Redemption now? I mean, Allison has appeared in 4 episodes of Redpemption, but Janice has appeared in 6. Just a thought --Leckie -- Talk 13:55, 11 January 2010 (EST)

    • NBC does not distinguish between "recurring" and "minor" characters. We do. Robert Knepper was billed as a guest star, not recurring. Janice only appeared in 3 episodes this season, and was mentioned in 3 others. - Josh (talk/contribs) 14:23, 11 January 2010 (EST)
