Did anyone understand what was Mac's ability? -- Jan Rodrigo (talk) (contributions) 07:07, 29 December 2009 (EST)

  • Can we say for sure that it was telekinesis, or not? -- Jan Rodrigo (talk) (contributions) 07:14, 29 December 2009 (EST)
    • Probably not, I think from the way he described it that he has Enhanced strength *yawn*. Till we know exactly what it is, if he even has one, I think we leave it blank. -- Leckie -- Talk 07:17, 29 December 2009 (EST)
      • Yeah, probably it'll be named Mac's ability... until we know what it's. -- Jan Rodrigo (talk) (contributions) 07:21, 29 December 2009 (EST)
        • Lol did he have an ability? didn't see it.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 07:26, 29 December 2009 (EST)
          • Thats if he even has an ability. -- Leckie -- Talk 07:31, 29 December 2009 (EST)
            • He definitely has an ability, first because all the people in the carnival "have abilites", secondly because Samuel told Mac, "Hell of a show you can put on Mr. Doyle". So, we know for sure, he has an ability. -- Jan Rodrigo (talk) (contributions) 07:58, 29 December 2009 (EST)
              • We really need to see the ability, otherwise we dont know it for sure. -- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 08:02, 29 December 2009 (EST)
          • Sabine works at the carnival, yet she doesn't have abilites. By the "Helluva show you can put on Mr. Doyle", he was talking to Eric about his ability. -- Leckie -- Talk 08:14, 29 December 2009 (EST)
            • Same as with Joseph, we didn't gave him an ability first. It was very likely but it wasn't for -- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 08:22, 29 December 2009 (EST)sure.
              • We hadn't given Joseph an ability, because by the time, we didn't know for sure that everyone of the "family" had an ability. It was clearly stated in more than one places in the episodes (I don't recall which, btw). And as Leckie said, Samuel was talking to Eric about Mac's ability. I don't insist to create an ability about it, but we've to admit that Mac's an evolved person and add him to evolved's page. -- Jan Rodrigo (talk) (contributions) 09:11, 29 December 2009 (EST)
                • No, what I meant was "Samuel was talking to Eric about Eric's ability'. For now we should keep him on the humans portal, until such a time as he display's an ability, then we move him to the evolved human portal -- Leckie -- Talk 09:18, 29 December 2009 (EST)
                  • Why then, they showed Mac's nose bleeding? Additionaly, if there are three people in a room and "person X" would tell me that, person Y can put a show on you, then I would clearly understand it as that "person Y can do something to me" not "me to him". (I took, person X = Samuel, person Y = Mac and me = Eric) -- Jan Rodrigo (talk) (contributions) 09:35, 29 December 2009 (EST)
                    • Whilst its very likely that Mac does have an ability, it never showed it, so he stays as a normal human for now. --Leckie -- Talk 09:42, 29 December 2009 (EST)
                      • Yes. Mac might have an ability or he might have not, but what we can safely say without speculation is that Mac has no known ability. This is what we've always done with cases like this, from Shanti to the Company's founders.--Referos 09:48, 29 December 2009 (EST)
  • It was a typo, guys. Seriously. "Helluva show you can put on, Mr. Doyle." They forgot a comma (something they actually do quite a bit in the GNs. Samuel was talking to Doyle, about Doyle. The reason there's blood is because Doyle, who hasn't used his powers too much lately, snapped Mac's mouth shut so hard his mouth is bleeding. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 12:17, 29 December 2009 (EST)
    • Thanks Ricard, with the comma and the blood now I understand. Before, I thought they were hinting Mac's supposed power, because I miunderstood for the lack of comma :) So, yes, it should say "none" for the power. -- Jan Rodrigo (talk) (contributions) 13:52, 29 December 2009 (EST)
      • Sorry, are you trying to say that you think mac doesn't have an ability? The way I saw this part as was: doyle uses his ability against mac's. Mac tries to close his mouth using his ability (which we think as enhanced strength) but doyle locks his jaw into place, the strain of these two powers making mac bleed. Then joseph comments on how doyle puts on a good show with his ability. Anyway, that's how I see it. --mc_hammark 21:17, 1 January 2010 (EST)
        • Agree completely. Pretending Mac has not enhanced strength (lifted the tilt-a-whirl) is absolute non-sense negating Doyle's power and making a fool of Samuel admiring him. --Juba 15:30, 3 January 2010 (EST)
          • If we didn't see the ability, there is no reason we should list it as having ability. (for example, see Four-armed carny) if he had an ability it also could have been TK or levitation.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 16:24, 3 January 2010 (EST)
            • it should be under unconfirmed at least, as should he as an evolved human. But as for what his ability is... It won't be tk because a person with tk can beat eric (see dual) and if he had levitation, his comment about him not being able to escape but could lift the tilt a whirl would not make sense. There are loads of ones out there with much less evidence of them having an ability, I think mac's working at the carnival and his saying, it's pretty obvious that he has one. Even if it's to unknown, we know that he won't have none. --mc_hammark 17:46, 3 January 2010 (EST)
