Talk:Penny Logan
Shower scene
It actually makes more sense to me that it was Penny in the shower (not Connie) since Penny would want to clean herself after being in close contact with a guy who emits a toxic chemical. It's one of the interview questions for Mark, though, so hopefully we'll get a confirmation.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:21, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- But the person showering had black hair. Penny's hair wasn't died black or anything when she was after the guy.--Leshia 15:07, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- Penny's hair and face are not shown when she was after the guy.--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:15, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- Yes it is, she's standing right behind him in the first panel we see him.--Leshia 15:26, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- It does look like it could be Penny behind him in that first scene, but that doesn't mean her appearance hadn't been changed by the time she reached the shower (what I meant was that we don't see her face when and right after she zaps the nervous guy). That is speculative, though, so it will be nice if Mark clears up the confusion.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:46, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- Who's Mark? :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:53, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- Mark Sable of course. ;) BTW, Ryan, I mentioned your plan to sent a list of questions to Mark over at 9th Wonders.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:11, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- It's got her giant brown eyebrows that are pretty unique, her hair colour, and is wearing blue like the person who zaps him. It's not that speculative.--Leshia 18:07, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- Right, I meant it's speculative (though possible) to say that her mom used morphing on Penny's hair sometime between that scene where she's in the crowd tailing the nervous man and the shower scene.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:23, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- I think blond hair just looks darker when wet! --Juba 07:29, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
- The artist on her website, said she made a mistake on a recent assignment, this could be it. -Lөvөl 23:07, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
- I dunno...I think the hair color would probably be a colorist mistake, not an artist mistake. Who knows? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:11, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
- I agree with Ryan, assuming the hair, eye and eyebrow color discrepancies are mistakes, they are the responsibility of the colorists (not the pencillers). The artist's mistake is more likely the thumbs being in the wrong position (if you look at the hands, the thumb placement makes it look like Penny touches her own face, but it's been disputed on 9th Wonders as to whether or not those were Penny's hands).--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:14, 27 May 2008 (EDT)

Evolved Human heredity
Penny unless she develops an ability later is proof that just because you have two Evolved Human parents doesn't mean the children will like Micah. --Snow Leapord 09:28, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- Hmm I personly think that at the end of this arc she will like stop all the fighting by glowing or somthing. --Skywalkerrbf 13:13, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
Penny's last face
I'm drawing a blank here. Who was the face that Penny wore right before she was shot? --Watchmaker 04:08, 16 September 2008 (EDT)
- Though I thought it resembled Bianca somewhat, it wasn't supposed to be any of the known characters. It was the winning submission from NBC's "Choose Penny's face" competition. BTW, I hoping it isn't Penny's last face.--MiamiVolts (talk) 05:32, 16 September 2008 (EDT)
- I thought that was a horrible way to include the Choose Penny's Face winner. It held absolutely no significance for any of the characters, and had no effect on the storyline at all. --Yamawhata? 18:13, 20 September 2008 (EDT)
- I liked it. I thought it was fun. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:56, 20 September 2008 (EDT)
- I guess what I meant was that NBC had a big long voting to create a face to be featured in a GN, and when that GN finally comes, that face gets a minor, one-panel appearance. I have no problems with Penny's line or action, but it would have been better with Garcia's girlfriend or some other face that has some significance to Thompson. The 'last face he sees' should have some ironic significance. --Yamawhata? 22:06, 20 September 2008 (EDT)

Adopted? XD
- Its weird that both her parents are evolved humans while she isn't. And she didn't also get the facial features of her parent. --NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 16:06, 18 December 2008 (EST)
- With the information we have right now, Penny and Nathan are the only two cases of two evolved humans producing a human child. (Remember that Nathan was given his ability synthetically, which means he was born human.) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:20, 18 December 2008 (EST)
- You never know if someone will have an ability until an eclipse occurs. Maybe she just never saw one so her ability didn't activate... --Peter 12:37, 15 April 2009 (EDT)

- now that I think about it, people with abilites (manifested or not) have a generic marker. The Petrellis must have tested Nathan's DNA and seen he wouldn't get an ability. Penny could've had that marker but her ability hadn't manifested. As for Simone, we don't know if her mom was an evolved human aswell so she wouldn't be in this category of human born to evolved parents. --Peter 13:39, 15 April 2009 (EDT)
Thompson and Penny
Did Thompson and Penny get together in the end? I thought they did, but then in one of the later graphic novels, Thompson is in love Donna. When did that happen? O.o -- Konewka
- At the end of Faces, Part 1 and the beginning of Faces, Part 2. See here. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:54, 1 February 2009 (EST)
- No, I mean after Thompson found out who Penny was. Like, at the end of Faces, Part 2. -- Konewka
- At the end of Faces, Part 2, Penny realizes that Thompson doesn't like her as a person and just wants to use her. I don't think that relationship was going anywhere.--MiamiVolts (talk) 11:00, 1 February 2009 (EST)

could we not...
...get a better picture for the infobox, not just of the upper half of her face. There are better pictures of it in the GNs. --mc_hammark 17:11, 4 September 2009 (EDT)
