The Haitian's attempt to lead Claire to safety takes an unexpected turn.
As Jessica seeks to complete another assignment for Mr. Linderman, Niki begins to assert herself.
Hiro's quest for the sword reaches its conclusion.
Nathan Petrelli's relationship with Mr. Linderman comes to a head as they meet face-to-face.
Mr. Bennet attempts to stay one step ahead of The Company.
Mohinder is forced to choose between revenge and research.
Hiro and Ando escape danger, teleporting to the future.
Sylar and Peter meet a second time.
After receiving Mr. Bennet's email, Hana goes to the Pentagon to review the file that will bring the Company down. (War Buddies, Part 1)
Hana uses Linderman's credit card to purchase tickets to fly to Las Vegas, searching for "Petrelli" on Linderman's servers. After discovering a potential election fraud, she sends out hundreds of text messages to elicit aid in stopping the fraud. (War Buddies, Part 6)

- Linderman shows Nathan his healing ability, and how he wants to heal the world.
- Using the explosion as a catalyst, he plans for Nathan to become the President.
- Linderman calls upon Candice to gather Micah for his plans.
Peter and Sylar collide.
- Sylar kills Peter using telekinesis, but destroys the list in the process.
- Sylar finds Isaac and acquires his foresight.
- Peter survives when Claire removes a shard of glass, prompting Peter's regeneration.
Matt, Ted and Mr. Bennet escape the Company.
- Using their abilities, Matt and Ted find Bennet and escape.
- Bennet talks about taking down the Company, starting with the tracking system.
Claire discovers her family history.
- Claire and Angela discuss Peter and Nathan. Angela tells Claire that she plans for the two to go to Paris.
At a playground, Matt, Ted and Mr. Bennet meet with Hana on bringing down the Company's tracking systems. (The Death of Hana Gitelman, Part 1)

Hiro and Ando return from the future to begin their mission to stop Sylar.
- They follow Sylar to his mother's apartment, where Hiro attempts to kill Sylar.
- Sylar catches Hiro's sword strike, and breaks the sword by freezing it.
- Hiro and Ando teleport to safety with the broken sword, and discuss how they will stop Sylar.

"You haven't failed. We still have two days to kill Sylar and stop the bomb."--Ando

Peter learns more about the explosion after drawing Ted.
- Claire tells him about Ted's ability to go nuclear.
- Peter tells Nathan, who contacts Mr. Linderman about the plan.
Mohinder pairs up with the Company to stop Sylar.
- Mohinder learns about Molly Walker and her abilities.
Angela Petrelli talks to Nathan about destiny and faith.
- Angela discusses the plans that were put in place by herself, Linderman and others.

Ted, Matt and Mr. Bennet arive in New York City. (The Hard Part)
- Peter mimicks Ted's ability outside Kirby Plaza.
- Ted and Peter decide to leave New York with Claire.
  - Sylar calls the FBI to capture Sylar.
    - Sylar kills Ted and acquires his ability.
    - Peter and Claire realize Sylar can explode and destroy the city.
Nathan wins his election for Congress for the 14th district.
- Micah rigs the election.
- Linderman heals Heidi's legs.
- Linderman laters is confronted by D.L. and Jessica, where Linderman is killed.
Matt and Mr. Bennet try to disable the Company's tracking system.
- Matt and Bennet find that the system is Molly Walker.
- Mohinder hits Matt over the head to stop him.
Hiro and Ando try to fix Hiro's sword.
- Hiro and Ando talk to Nathan while he is trying to get more votes.
- Hiro and Ando find a repair shop, where Kaito speaks to Hiro.
- Hiro trains with his father to defeat Sylar.
- Ando leaves to kill Sylar himself.

Ando finds Sylar in Isaac's loft, but is stopped.
- Hiro, after talking to Kaito, teleports into the loft, grabs Ando, and teleports to Tokyo.
- Hiro tells Ando he must do this alone, and teleports back to America, leaving the Kensei sword and taking Ando's sword with him.
D.L. and Niki try to find Micah.
- Niki finds her ability and fights Candice, then finds Micah.
Matt, Mr. Bennet and Mohinder try to help Molly.
- Molly locates Sylar at Isaac's loft, where Matt rushes to stop him.
- Matt finds Sylar's painting and goes to Kirby Plaza.
- After finding that Peter has separated from Claire, Molly locates Peter for Bennet.
- When Molly locates Sylar being around Kirby Plaza, Mohinder and Molly rush to leave, where they find D.L., Niki and Micah.
Peter asks for Nathan's help.
- Claire is taken by Angela and Nathan away to be flown out of the city, but she escapes.
- Peter falls unconscious on the street, where Mr. Bennet finds him after Molly located him.

While D.L. is in the hospital, Micah talks to Hana after she has "died". (The Death of Hana Gitelman, Part 2)
