Your userpage edits...

Hey, Catalyst, I've noticed you've been editing your userpage alot. It's taking up the recent changes page entirely and is making it hard to navigate. Can I make a suggestion? Rather than editing your page a million times, use the preview button. If something doesn't look right, edit it and preview it again, and continue until you have what you're looking for. Image sources

Hey there, Catalyst. I nominated your recent images for deletion because they have no source. This violates our license. As well, your images are missing categories.       • I think there's more than one that needs to be updated. They look like screenshots. If they're screenshots (from aired episodes, for example), add

        {{image-screenshot}}<br>(from ''Smallville'')

        . If they're promotional images (released by the CW), add

        {{image-promotional}}<br>(from ''Smallville'')

Hey, Catalyst. Several of the images you have uploaded to Heroes Wiki are still not credited. This goes against our license. You will need to put the source for these images. They are:

• Image:White light.jpg
• Image:Red light.jpg
• Image:Symbols in Lionel's eye.jpg

Non-Heroes characters/abilities

Hello, when you make pages for characters that do not appear in the show, please make the article as 'User:Catalyst/<article name>'. That way the content is in your userspace, as the content isn't part of Heroes. Likewise, the articles for Pyrokinetic-Radiation and Sonny have been moved to User:Catalyst/Pyrokinetic-Radiation and User:Catalyst/Sonny for you.--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:03, 22 February 2009 (EST)

• I'm not sure why you just recreated the Pyrokinetic-Radition article. It already exists in your userspace, just make sure you type 'User:Catalyst/<article name>' and not 'User:Catalyst:/<article name>' (note the extra : you are putting after your username; adding that extra : makes it not your userspace).--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:19, 22 February 2009 (EST)

This message keeps coming up telling me to delete any page that leads to my user page so i am allowed to add something to it.--Catalyst

  • Yep, still having trouble. Did you see what page it was that was marked?--Catalyst
    • Not positive this is your only problem, but you were copying code from either Template:Linderman or Template:Pinehearst, which included the afd template. I just made you a user template for your navbar, so now you just have to plug in "{{User:Catalyst/Catalyst pages}}" wherever you want to see that navbar on your user pages.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:13, 22 February 2009 (EST)

        • Ah, ok. Template:Sylar is also marked for deletion, so that's why when you copied the entire code from that page, your page also became marked. In the future, if you are copying such a page, just make sure to omit the part that contains the "afd" template call.               • Do you have it? You only need to put "{{User:Catalyst/Catalyst pages}}" on each of your subpages, but you've copied the code from that page to them instead. User:Catalyst/Active & Passive Abilities

I took the liberty of making some clarifications to those pages. I think, though, that the content of User:Catalyst/Active Abilities and User:Catalyst/Passive Abilities could easily be put on the one page (User:Catalyst/Active & Passive Abilities) without any loss of clarity. • Very good, I added some sections and a blurb under each to make the page stand on it's own better. I'm seeing potential for the page as a Mainspace page, like my Ability homology project.     • looks good. Some things that I can fix or you can, Proper naming of abilities (what you can list as motion manipulation in your subpage can only be listed as Puppet master in the mainspace due to naming conventions), convert the chart format to the wikitable format to match the rest of the style around here. As to where to put it, it would go under fan creations, (and under my proposed sub-category of Fan canon analysis if there are no objections to the classification scheme). We would need a little feedback on the idea of moving it to the mainspace before we proceed on doing so, so I'll put the rename template on it to get some feedback from a few folks. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:55, 22 March 2009 (EDT)

              • <sigh> My apologies, the prep of Fan creations took a while. Also, converting from the chart format to the wikitable format is harder than I thought it would be. I wont be able to complete the table conversion tonight and I need to go to bed. You can see how it works, so you can do it if you want, otherwise I'll try to do it bit by bit over the weekend/next week. • Looks Great! Now it's just a matter of some debating of what abilities are what type, since some may disagree with the categorizations. For example, Oil secretion is Bioligical and not physical, since secreting the oil requires diferent anatomy than normals. Sigs

• Regarding the timestamp, it's kind of nice to see when somebody said what. Now, with regard to your altering your sig appearance and the HTML thing, I dont recall seeing that problem. As an aside, if you really want to get fancy with sigs, you do like I (and everyone else with a fancy sig) do. I have code for my sig at User:SacValleyDweller/sig. I use that as a template at User:SacValleyDweller/autosig. I then place the code {{SUBST:User:SacValleyDweller/autosig}} in the "Nickname" blank at Special:Preferences with the "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" box checked. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:11, 24 March 2009 (EDT)
  • That's what you would do if you're wanting to use fancy sigs like mine. But, if what you have now for a sig is as fancy as you want to get, you don't need to make those pages. The amount of code there is not extreme. With mine, it's about 5 or 6 lines of code, so it needs those pages to work and not take up much space when I use it. Re:Ability supercharging

Sure, in fact, sometimes when we have a good enough file, we upload animations for examples page, there are two in the site already, one of Candice dropping a Simone illusion and one of explosion future Peter coming out of invisibility and using telekinesis at the same time.
