**Sure. Anybody you have in mind? I know [[Jason Badower]] would be more than willing, but I don't know what I would ask him that I couldn't just ask in his blog or in an email... Your signature
Hey Ryan, I was editing a talk page when I saw : "used templates : User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig" which means you sign writting manually {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} right ? I just wanted to make sure you knew you could had the {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} command into your preference page's nickname field and sign using the famous --~~~~. -- FrenchFlo (talk) 17:57, 2 June 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, I know. Thanks. I got a little tired of having my code all over the talk pages, so I'm opting for a much simpler version. I use a sig page to make my signature, and then an autosig page to get rid of all the code. I still just type in ~~~~, but because I subst: the autosig in my preferences, only {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} appears. It makes me a bit more vulnerable to mass vandalism, but nothing that can't be undone. Plus, I'm on enough that I'll notice if somebody changes my sig. :) RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 18:36, 2 June 2007 (EDT)
- Hehe I now use you way of sign! It there a trick not to display the hour ? I mean, using the signature button gives four tildes (~~~~) so it add the date of the post, but three tildes (~~~) doesn't, can we change the button to make 3 of them instead of 4 ? --
(talk)
- I don't know if the button can be changed, but I'm not sure it would be a good idea even if it could be changed. When people sign their names on talk pages, it's very nice to have the dates included. By the way, 3 tildes=just your signature, 4=signature+time stamp, and 5=just time stamp. Issac's Paintings
- I added Original Character (because DL is not represented). I feel it is important to note, more important than other trivia that has been added to other characters in the show, I tried to discuss with people before adding it, but I had the post under discussion for a week with no one adding a single comment. So, I assumed no one objected and seeing as some of the minor things that have been added to trivia (Ando: Ando has a crush on Hiro's sister) I thought it was important to add to his profile. after you erased it, i amended the addition (i added _original_ main character) to account for my oversight of (i wonder why he is even in the show) DL who has at least had someone in his immediate family who has been painted by one of the prophetic painters. And Niki has --- the Split mirrored painting of obviously both Niki and Jessica. This was most of my reasoning. I hope this is the best place to set this. Guy 19:54, 2 June 2007 (EDT)
- I'm sorry I didn't see it in a discussion. My issue is not how minor the trivia is, it's the accuracy of the trivia. Putting "original" main character helps clarify, but it still sounds confusing. How about we put the piece of trivia under Isaac's paintings#Trivia and that way we can include both Matt and D.L. (You're right about Niki--I forgot about the split personality image.) RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 19:58, 2 June 2007 (EDT)
- Ok that sounds good, I amended it again to be very clear how very specific it was. but i will move it.

2 questions
- You turned off TOC in your preferences. and I'm not sure if it's possible to add links to the unusedimagetext. I've tried to add links to some of the system messages before without any luck. (Admin 01:58, 5 June 2007 (EDT))
- Thanks. I didn't realize my prefs were changed. Hmm. Weird about system messages--I guess some allow and some don't. Very odd. Thanks for your help. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 05:37, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
Guillame punching the Haitian
![]()
I thought this image was a give away that the Haitian was using his power. You can see the white swirly design coming out of the Haitian's head. It's a bit different from Guillame's power because Guillame's has a rainbowish effect. This one has less color.--Ice Vision 14:07, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
- The Haitian's power has never been shown like that, even in this comic. To me, it doesn't look like the swirls are coming out of the Haitian's head, but are just around his head. It looks to me like it's Guillame's fading power. You very well may be correct, but either way, it's just not a very clear example. It's fine for the examples page, but I would say it's not very clear for the main page. Especially coupled with a caption that says that Guillame is powerles. The Haitian touching Matt's face and Matt's fading words are much clearer indicators that the Haitian is making Matt lose his memory. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 14:49, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
- I understand, it's a unclear. I'll go ahead and remove the image from the selected examples page just in case.--Ice Vision 20:27, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
- I don't think it's necessary to remove from the examples page altogether, I just don't think it's a very clear example for the main page. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 20:56, 5 June 2007 (EDT)

Hello
I'm passing thru Harrisburg a couple times for a convention I'm attending towards the end of this month. So if I see an older version of your pride, I'll wave hello. :)--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:39, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
- Cool. If you get a chance, stop at the Jackson House on 6th Street (by the capital building)--they have the best burgers! -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 18:45, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks, I'll try to stop by there (convention's in Hershey). But do they have the turkey variety? I don't eat beef.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:52, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
- Hmm, probably not. In that case, there's a little Indian dive with awesome food over by Front Street, right before you get onto 81/83. Great vegetarian foods that might be more suited to your preferences. But if you're in Hershey, the Hershey Grill has some pretty fine dining, if you're into that type of place. You can't miss it at the Hershey Lodge on W. Chocolate Ave. and University Drive. Have fun! -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 19:03, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
- Kudos again. I'll keep an eye out for an Indian-named restaurant in Harrisburg. Food at the Hershey Lodge is pre-paid into my accomodations, but I'll check out the grill.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:26, 5 June 2007 (EDT)

- Hey, there's a kid at my sister's school who's name is "Ryan Stewart"! :) --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 19:47, 14 June 2007 (EDT)
- Lucky kid. Popular name. I think there's an NFL player with the same name, but I am definitely not him. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 19:54, 14 June 2007 (EDT)
John From Cincinatti
Ok, we have someone who keeps putting "John from Cincinatti" stuff on our wiki. --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 20:55, 10 June 2007 (EDT)

Logo contest size
- I just noticed that on the logo competition page it asks for logos to be a certain size. Should I resize them and reupload them, or will you guys do that once you choose a new logo?--Dan 11:19, 11 June 2007 (EDT)
- If you want to resize them, it'd be a good idea. The size for the main logo doesn't have to be exact though, it just has to look good at the size specified. I don't think any of my entries are the exact size....You seem pretty handy with image editors, but if you have trouble resizing your logo, somebody else can help you out. Let me know if you need help. Otherwise, if your logo is chosen, I'm sure there'll be a ton of people willing to help. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 11:21, 11 June 2007 (EDT)
Ratings
Saw where you wanted to see a ratings page, and so I went out and dug up the Nielson ratings for each epi, and put them in a table, and made a page for them. See what you think, and what would be good to add to it. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 06/21/2007 11:31 (EST)
- I'd recommend merging with the Heroes article. (Admin 11:32, 21 June 2007 (EDT))
- I think it's fine as its own article (though it needs to be cleaned up), kind of like broadcasts. It should definitely be linked from Heroes. HDS, where exactly did you find all that data? I searched and searched, and could only come up with a weekly top 10 or 20, and sometimes Heroes was not included. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 11:44, 21 June 2007 (EDT)
- If you go back through Heroes-TV's archive, they kept up, and listed the neilsons each week as they came out for the show. I just went back through their archives, and found each one, and wrote them out. I can add a source-link to the table for each one if you think it would be worthwhile to have...I still have that stuff stored off in a rough draft, I just decided not to include the links when I put the page out. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 06/21/2007 12:04 (EST)
- We should include some kind of source. Maybe just one general source on the bottom. If it's not all on one page (or accessed from one page), then we should put a small source link to Heroes-TV on the bottom. (See how it's done at Jason Badower/Road Kill, for instance.) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 12:34, 21 June 2007 (EDT)
- The Heroes page needs more information to make it a palatable page. I think that's a good place for the ratings info and even in the "needs improvement" header we mention needing ratings info. We don't need a separate page called "Neilson ratings" just for ratings about Heroes, it's better off in the Heroes article and will make that article better. It's important for that article to become very good so that when people links to us as "Heroes" they're more inclined to link to that page rather than Wikipedia's Heroes page which has a lot of useful information right on a single page. (Admin 17:37, 21 June 2007 (EDT))
- That's fine, but then we'd probably want to take some of the other pages at the same level (like broadcasts) and put them on the page. Personally, I'd rather see a two- or three-sentence blurb on Heroes about ratings with a link to the page, but that's just my preference. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 17:40, 21 June 2007 (EDT)
- Both pages are a little big, but I think it's in our best interests to put them both on the Heroes page. If others link to that page using the word "Heroes" it helps us out a good deal. (Admin 17:41, 21 June 2007 (EDT))
- How about including the pages? -Lөvөl 17:43, 21 June 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, that makes the most sense. People have already linked to broadcasts, so it still makes sense to leave it as its own page, but including it is a great idea. That way we can still have a proper link from the portal pages and navbars. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 17:46, 21 June 2007 (EDT)

Four Months Later
- Thanks for reformatting the episode page. I wasn't getting the size of the infobox right. FlyingMan 15:24, 22 June 2007 (EDT)
- Of course. Formatting is not difficult for me, but it's a bit harder for some people that aren't quite as familiar with the site. Thank you for getting that article from IGN. Great stuff. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 15:26, 22 June 2007 (EDT)
- No problem, I'm always on that site so as soon as I saw it I immediately rushed here to see if the episode article was already posted. Should the Next on Heroes box on the Main Page be changed to include the new title? FlyingMan 15:29, 22 June 2007 (EDT)
- I don't have a problem with it, but since it wasn't officially announced by NBC, let's hold off a bit. I'm linking it pretty heavily in the spoiler pages, though. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 15:31, 22 June 2007 (EDT)
