Synopsis
I'm good at writing these, I can cram in as much detail as possible and I've got good literacy skills, If no one will write one (When Season 3 came out they came up every MORNING in the UK literally 3 hours after it finished) but now no one even writes a synopsis until about 6PM (GMT) on the next day. If no one will take the job of writing synopses then I can write one in the morning when I wake up (after a new episode) or one when I get home from college (at around 4:40-5PM GMT). If everyone agrees to a task appointment, I can write the synopses every week (with every bit of detail) and everyone else can fix appropriate links (if required), sort out a few "hang-on" mistakes, etc? I'd like to know a vote for this :D --Arkillion 09:54, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- I've added the synopsis ^_^ --Arkillion 12:21, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- Are we really going to use colors to show what happens in the past? We've never done this before. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:45, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- Sorry if you've never used them before, I've used colour on other wikis to distinguish past, future and alternate timelines from the present (if on the same episode) so people aren't confused. I decided to use it for memory, if there's no argument against it other than "no colour has been used" it's fine.. right? ^^ --Arkillion 12:50, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- I've seen other wikis using it, but the thing is, here, we've always managed to show what's memory/alternate timeline/future without using colors, it doesn't feel necessary. I also think that this should be a decision of the community in general. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:52, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- If you want a consensus check regarding this then feel free, I personally (even if it is biased) think anything related to the past or future within a present period should have some sort of definitive tone --Arkillion 12:57, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- I personally think it's a useful touch for making it clear where something is taking place. If it's something people like maybe we can formalize the process a little and use it to enhance the synopsis readability when we're working with flashbacks or completely different points in time (e.g. when people travel through time). (Admin 13:07, 24 February 2009 (EST))
- Personally, I don't like it, I think it looks quite tacky. I also think that if we have 'Two Days Ago' in front of the text, it is pretty self-explanatory. I don't think we need to use it if we never have before. --IronyUTC CH 13:17, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- I don't oppose it as long as it's properly discussed and the community is ok with it, it can go either way for me, but if we do use it, then I suggest using another color, green doesn't fit the wiki's current color scheme. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 13:19, 24 February 2009 (EST)

HOLY CRAP
Oh man. Up until the last 30 seconds, I thought this was an okay episode, but nothing special really... but DANG! What a twist! It's season one all over again! (though I'm kind of sad they got rid of the original explosion painting) -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:01, 23 February 2009 (EST)
- Totally agree, liked the way it was laid out too, help pull your attention through. Dracomaster4 22:03, 23 February 2009 (EST)
- Yeah, and the new musical accompaniment was intense! Speaking of which, I'm really happy about the music this volume. There's a lot of new tunes being thrown around. They all sound great! -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:05, 23 February 2009 (EST)
- Yup, one thing I noticed, is most of the first and second season didnt have a soundtrack, and now they're using them in a great way. Dracomaster4 22:06, 23 February 2009 (EST)

- Interesting, I thought the first half was very boring and talked down to the viewer a little much. oh well.. im still watching! :) -Action Figure 22:19, 23 February 2009 (EST)
- I absolutely agree, Action Figure, this is probably the worst episode ever. 1st, we learned no new information until the reveal that Daphne was still alive. Everything else had been implied, we didn't need to see the conversations. They were talking down to us. 2nd, the cinematography was completely inconsistent, I know they're trying new things, but there were too many new things in one episode. This didn't even look like an episode of Heroes. Where were Matt's swing and tilt lens and SFX? I did like the B&W, perfect for the inside of HRG's head, but did they not notice the Uncle Leo like angry eyebrows they were rocking on HRG by lighting him from below? 3rd, the plot moved forward an inch. Mohinder was given an ultimatum, Noah and Angela are working together and Matt's going to blow up DC. Why hold off all of the new info until the last 5 min. of the show? On the plus side, the acting has never been better.--Mistyjo 05:22, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- Just read Beeman's blog. There were budget cuts (obvious from lack of sets and VFX), NBC execs edited the script and took out some nice stuff, and a freshman director this episode. I hope they saved enough money to make next week a great week.--Mistyjo 06:23, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- From what we saw on the floor, either Matt has some pretty powerful explosives, Ando will supercharge Luke (or Sylar if he kills Luke) or we'll get another Ted Sprague. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 10:01, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- For all we know they may not even be bombs or explosives, they could be scrolls (reminiscent of the scroll Hiro had, of Isaac's ripped painting). Of highly classified information regarding certain evolved humans or even Homeland Security and DC gets blown up to preserve it? Hell I don't know, just a theory :D - And if Ando supercharges Sylar (which won't happen considering Sylar would kill him to begin with and all his powers would amplify, Telekinesis 500 metre slice and that's the kill! Also I do see that the budget must of been cut, all the drama wasn't there, I can't wait for Shades of Gray in two weeks! And I'm thankful that there's an episode every Monday instead of "Two weeks.. VILLAINS" >_>--Arkillion 10:11, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- I'm glad there were budget cuts, to be honest. It grounds the show. It focuses the stories on the characters rather than the powers and effects. It also forces the stories to be less sprawling. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:31, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- I think budget cuts are good sometimes too, especially in a struggling economy on a struggling network and a show that's struggling with ratings. It forces the writers to be creative. This episode was missing creativity. Who hadn't already figured out that HRG was roped into the gov't mess, Angela was unhappy w/ Nathan's plans, the company was disbanded, and the hunter was out for blood. It was like 45 min. of "Previously on Heroes".--Mistyjo 11:02, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- This episode was great because it really focused on the characters. I think this episode wasn't missing creativity at all. But I hope that the budget problems will be solved so they could mix a fair amount of special effects and character drama so everyone can be satisfied. Btw. I loved the Daphne part!--Alen (talk) 11:54, 24 February 2009 (EST)* I found Daphne's screaming to be a bit.....awkward.. I mean she sounded really REALLY weird. --Arkillion 12:24, 24 February 2009 (EST)

Noah and Angela
Here's a good question: what are those two up to??? I think they're working to bring down this new program that is capturing evolved humans. Note that several times over the last few episodes when an evolved human got away mostly Noah is around. I think he's secretly doing what he can to help. For example he let Peter go twice when he could have easily killed him each time, he's been protecting Claire and I'm not really sure if he put any real effort into capturing Alex, he almost seemed to get away too easily like Noah was trying to give him a shot secretly, I mean Noah did subtle in his capture attempt and he's more of a taze em sort of guy. That's just not him and obviously Danko and his goon squad don't have any problems tazing people. He even tried to warn them not to go after Danko and to just run and it seemed like he was trying to give them advice. Then Noah escorted Matt out. That seemed a little suspicious to me. I had a feeling he was either going to let Matt go somehow or find a way to help him escape. I was right: Peter did rescue Matt, but notice how Noah was able to look at Peter's trail seconds later when he flew away: if he'd been stunned by that grenade he would have been blinded longer than that. I think he just took the oportunity to let go of Matt so he could get away. He knew Peter would come back if he escaped so he did his best to give him a chance at performing a rescue.--WarGrowlmon18 23:05, 23 February 2009 (EST)
I'm guessing Noah is really a good guy at heart and wants the evolved humans to be protected under a watchful eye during this time. --TrueBlueBrooklynite 00:09, 24 February 2009 (EST)
Was that Russian when Noah talked with Matt? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 11:03, 24 February 2009 (EST)
Seemed like Japanese to me. --Ikkian 11:39, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- It was Russian not Japanese, I can speak a tiny bit of Russian and I recognised it. --Arkillion 12:22, 24 February 2009 (EST)
How to Stop an Exploding Matt
Did anyone notice how the bomb straps (Now pipe-bombs I assume) or whatever they were attached to him on the painting went from a single "scroll" to multiple ones and then Matt? I didn't even notice they were "bombs" until I saw the explosion on the floor. And anyone understand the explosion on the floor? Any recognizable place? At least Daphne's alive, but I fear he's on the path of evil rather than good. --Arkillion 04:10, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- Nope...not a recognizable place at all. XD Bloodbath 04:47, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- Your kidding dude right??? That was OBVIOUS!!!!!!!!! Its Washington D.C.!--WarGrowlmon18 08:45, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- No, there's no confirmation and just because the explosion is similar to Peter exploding, doesn't mean it's New York or Washington, --Arkillion 09:50, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- Actually, you see the Washington Monument and The White House in the painting on the floor. (Admin 09:54, 24 February 2009 (EST))
- Another prophetic painting, another exploding hero... Its starting to seem like the writers just don't have any original ideas... What's next? "Save the Speedster, Save the World"? Jebriggs98 09:56, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- You do have to admit that my "How to Stop an Exploding Matt" is catchy. Save the Hiro, Be a Hero ;) --Arkillion 10:05, 24 February 2009 (EST)

- C'mon! who cannot recognize that place...?[1] (that's a link to the painting picture) Honestly this episode wasn't really good to me... I was expecting to see more--Themd 10:16, 24 February 2009 (EST)
- I live in England, not America. But I did realise the monument when I re-looked the image and found out it was DC (Yay Fallout 3). Of course I kept thinking it was some sort of "bubbly" effect heh :X --Arkillion 10:24, 24 February 2009 (EST)

- lol, I thought Arkillion was being sarcastic about the "Any recognizable place?" But just to be sure, [2] here is a poster/picture of the real places, and Lincoln Capitol Washington. Also, the white house is not actually visible in the picture, its farther off to (our) left, you may be thinking of the Lincoln memorial. - AJHalliwell 13:19, 24 February 2009 (EST)
