Lynette thinks that Greg and Sammy would want to go to a Midland RockHounds baseball game and "make a day of it". (Chapter 15)
When Lynette sees Hiro's "magic tricks," she gets the idea that Hiro should perform a magic show at Sammy's eighth birthday party. Sammy watches the show with his friends and bursts into "astonished applause". (Chapter 19)
