Source/Explanation
Alex Woolsley tells Claire that he can "breathe underwater" (Building 26).

I just don't get it

  • He could use it. For instance, he could sneak into a navy base...hide in the water and kill someone who passes by without anyone knowing...and he could hide on the bottom of the ocean afterward without anyone being able to get to him.   • They're tracking everyone with abilities, no matter how nonthreatening the ability is. But Alex's ability can be used dangerously as Golden Monkey said.     • I agree with Intuitive Empath, he says he can breathe underwater whereas Lung adaptation is adapting the persons lungs to any environment, so until he breathes when their is poisonous gas around for example these two should stay separate. --posted by Laughingdevilboy

Graphic Novels?

      • When an ability has appeared in a webisode or episode then the ability is listed on the ability portal, if the ability only appears in a graphic novel it stays on the graphic novel portal. Hope that helps :) --posted by Laughingdevilboy

Lamest Ability

    • No, I would give that honor to Trevor's ability. I would actually really like to have underwater breathing, seeing as how I'm a swimmer. And I wouldn't mind having imprinting to finish those homework assignments in a flash.     • I don't think there is a lamest ability. In my opinion there are several, to name a few, crumpling, nerve gas emission, chlorine gas exudation, trevor's ability, acid secretion, luminescence, primal rage, gravitational manipulation, ability supercharging and body insertion. But I do think that underwater breathing is an ok ability compared to some others. I think I got carried away with examples lol. --posted by Laughingdevilboy

ok i have been an avid x-men reader for ages now im a heroes fan , i have to say the abilities in this show are awsome so are the ones in the comics and webepisodes, so there is no lamest ability to me as an ability can be useful mediumship and sound absorbtion, the reaso nwhy most of you guys think some abilities are lame because the abilities are not explored that much. for example crumpling, nerve gas emission, chlorine gas exudation, trevor's ability, acid secretion, luminescence, primal rage, gravitational manipulation, ability supercharging and body insertion. all of those abilities are not lame! they are dangerous and can harm people, nerve gas and chlorine gas emiters are not a laughing matter they kill you painfully! also supercharging is also useful if you have allies. and most of the abilties in the assignment tracker are not explored come on instead of creating new characters with new powers use ones in the assignment tracker! sorry for getting carried away thats all i have to say! oh i love under water breathing!--Zoga78 02:06, 25 February 2009 (EST)
