Revision as of 16:56, 13 April 2009
Strange how he doesn't have his father's last name... especially since it appears Niki and D.L. haven't been separated all that long and they probably aren't divorced, since D.L. disappeared before divorce proceedings could've happened. Might D.L. not be his real father?
- Niki could have easily had his name changed after D.L. went to prison... it doesn't take all that long and is worth it - especially if you are trying to get a new start for the boy (new school, etc.)
- It's also possible that Micah was born before Niki and DL were legally married, which would account for his last name. --Ted C 11:37, 4 December 2006 (EST)
Micah's age
- Oddly enough, Micah may be the only character whose age is (mostly) confirmed. Hal, who has never met Micah before, gives him a lptop and claims it's "amortized over ten birthdays". Throw in an extra half year for the six months between then and Homecoming and you've got Red's 10-11 years.--Hardvice (talk) 21:44, 4 January 2007 (EST)
- Good catch - I didn't think about Hal's comment. Thanks for the fix. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:09, 4 January 2007 (EST)
- EXACTLY! So How do i Do the (Hist|Diff) Edit Back to my 10-11 Age Post?
~ ~ ~ ~ Red = 22:00, 4 January 2007 (EST)
- For now, it's better off in "Notes" since we can't really be precise. I added a note about Hal's comment, though. (I know it seems everyone's really picky about what info goes in articles, but it's for consistency's and clarity's sake. There's a bunch of information about sources and speculation in Help:Sources.)--Hardvice (talk) 22:06, 4 January 2007 (EST)
- So Shouldn't Hal's words be good enough as a cannon? as a Distraught Grandfather seeking Redemption? ~ ~ ~ ~ Red = 23:31, 4 January 2007 (EST)
- Personally, I'd say it's close enough to include. It makes sense that he'd say "10 birthdays" meaning that Micah was 10, and I don't think they'd count the day he was born when it comes to birthdays. If he were a different age I'd expect one of them to have corrected him given the semi-confrontational nature (particularly by D.L.) However I could still understand any hesitation to include it in the sidebar. (Admin 23:40, 4 January 2007 (EST))
- I say include it - but because he could have had another birthday in those six months, we should say 10 or 11. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:04, 5 January 2007 (EST)

- I'm just recording this because I messed up the calculations. In Four Months Ago..., Micah turned 11 years old. The screen said "Three months ago", so his birthday party was in December 2006. Therefore, Micah was born in December 1995. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:48, 13 November 2007 (EST)
- That would mean that in 2007, he'd have 12, since the show's in 2007, but there's no indication that December has arrived in-universe yet right? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 20:44, 25 March 2009 (EDT)
- It was said in A Clear and Present Danger that Nathan had been a senator less than three months. It's May or June. - Josh (talk/contribs) 21:25, 7 April 2009 (EDT)

Run!
- What was it Micah said when he was getting ready for school? Something about them organizing to fight crime? I can't remember it, but it should be in the ep description, I think. --Ted C 16:37, 16 February 2007 (EST)
- I don't remember without rechecking the ep (you'll have to consult an encyclopedia for that one) ... I take it he wants his family to wear red suits with a big letter "I" on the front. All he needs is an invisible sister. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:44, 16 February 2007 (EST)
Question about Micah's computer
-
Hal gave Micah this laptop 6 months ago.
-
Then Micah took it apart.
Does anybody know what kind of computer Micah uses? Without giving too much away, I'll just say I need to know for an upcoming graphic novel. Any details would be appreciated. Thanks! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:49, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
- I couldn't get much from heroes-pictures, but if this helps, here you go. Thanks, guys! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:20, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
- It's a Dell (with tape over the medallion ... LOL). Not sure the specific model (I think it may be an Inspiron, one generation back from the current case, but I'm not sure), but my partner works for Dell, so I'll ask.--Hardvice (talk) 14:09, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
- I read somewhere online that it's an HP Pavilion. Any truth to that? You know how Jason Badower is, he doesn't want to be caught doing the wrong computer, and he refuses to just draw a generic laptop (bless his soul). Thanks for investigating, Hardvice. Much appreciated, as always. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:18, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
- Actually, yeah, I think it is an older Pavilion -- something in the Z series.. They don't use a center hubcap logo any more (they're now smaller and near the clasp or offset in the lower right), but the contrasting edge trim is a dead giveaway.--Hardvice (talk) 17:47, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
- I think this is our guy. HP Pavilion ZE5XXX.--Hardvice (talk) 17:54, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
- You rock. Tell your partner thanks too....I'm actually thinking Micah's computer might make a nice article, especially if something happens with it in a graphic novel. Hmmm... — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:25, 25 April 2007 (EDT)

Redirect
I don't think we should redirect "Rebel" to Micah but instead leave those two pages apart. They are two different sides of Micah, much like Niki/Jessica, who I believe were left apart. Instead, I propose that "Rebel" gets updated as being Micah and that Micah's page gets a link to "Rebel".--Ikkian 22:24, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
- I agree with Ikkian. We should do what we did with the characters and their future variants--a separate page for each identity. --Formless 22:45, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
- There is a conversation already started at Talk:Rebel#Merger?. Future variants of characters are not the same as aliases of characters. Dallas is Arthur. Betty is Candice. Rebel is Micah. Their histories are merged because they are one and the same. Future variants of characters no longer exist once the future has been changed. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:54, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
- I had posted this here first then noticed the topic on Rebel's talk page, so I reposted it over there. --Ikkian 22:59, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
- We shouldn't merge Rebel and Micah until we're sure Micah is working alone. As mentioned in Talk:Rebel#Who_is_Rebel?, Rebel may be Micah teamed up with Molly (and/or others). -- RogerB 3:53, 24 March 2009 (CST)
- He stated himself that he is Rebel. Anything else is just speculation until confirmed.--Steely McBeam - (talk) 04:59, 24 March 2009 (EDT)

no go
IceGhost78 when they finally say that micah is rebel i was hoping for him to have some better dialogue than "i want to help people" i mean how often will we hear someone who say that in the show am i right
IceGhost78 yes@@@@@@@ Micah is back though
Micah as Rebel
I honestly suspected that from the begining. With everything that was being done I knew it had to be a technopath and it made sense that it was Micah especialy with how hard her worked to get Tracy out of Building 26. At least now we know and we should now be seeing more of him given his status as Rebel. His voice sounds different and he's a bit taller. The actor's 13 now, but I thought he was older the way he looked.--WarGrowlmon18 23:32, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
- I think everyone suspected it from the beginning. The writers sure weren't subtle with the clues. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 00:20, 24 March 2009 (EDT)
- Considering how different he is, I really think we should update the image. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:57, 24 March 2009 (EDT)
recurring
- rebel has being a recurring character since episode 2 , does apereances doesnt count for making a recurring character--Cj31094 21:06, 25 March 2009 (EDT)
- Rebel has only appeared as Rebel once: in Cold Snap. A character who is never seen does not have any appearances. Thus, Micah/Rebel has only appeared twice this entire season: once at his mother's funeral (One of Us, One of Them), and once at Union Station (Cold Snap). If he appears two more times, he'll be considered recurring. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:45, 25 March 2009 (EDT)
Im sorry Im new at this so if i mess up please forgive Doesnt it seem possable that micah gains knowledge from the cumputers he manipulates? And if i put this in the wrong portal can someone please move it and show me were it goes? --Autobot2 13:00, 2 April 2009 (EDT) Im back please visit my portal and feel free to leave notes User:Autobot2/sig 12:55, 13 April 2009 (EDT)
