Adam Monroe is Kensei.	Kensei's symbol seems to be heavily connected to the Company, which was partially founded by Monroe.	• None of the identified men in Group of twelve appear to be Kensei. It is possible that Monroe/Kensei is a founder and not connected to Group of twelve. + The other names mentioned in the game are pivotal characters, so it seems possible that we met Monroe, in the form of Kensei. - Kensei's power seems to be rapid cell regeneration, and it is unknown if this includes longevity. + Keeping with religious themes in the show, the name "Adam" would be fitting as a name for the earliest example of an evolved human. + Bob seemed to think the power-neutralizing effects of the Shanti virus would be necessary to stop Monroe. Given the Company's usual willingness to kill, this could suggest that he either can't be killed (because of rapid cell regeneration) or there's a reason they wish to spare his life. Being that the company seems to use Kensei's symbol, he may be an important figure to them, one they'd prefer not to kill. + Inside the apartment in Montreal that Peter Petrelli and Caitlin visit there are flags from Whitebeard's camp in the background.

(The Kindness of Strangers) • The other known Company founder names introduced (like Maury Parkman) seem to be pivotal to the plot of the volume.	+ If Elle's father is an as-yet-unseen character, than it makes sense that he would be the mysteriously hinted at Monroe. + Adam Monroe has been shown to have definite ties with Peter Petrelli. (The Line) Elle also has ties with Peter Petrelli. (Fight or Flight) If Adam is Elle's father, then that could explain why Adam had Elle looking for him.
Adam Monroe has the ability to manipulate shadows	None	+ Assuming it was him, it would explain why the hooded killer's face was obscured. - The reason that the killer's face was obscured was most likely to make sure the watchers wouldn't be able to see the identity of the killer immediately. Obvious the question of who is killing everyone in the Company is a story arc of the series, and if they gave away the killer in the first episode, the arc would be pointless.

Also, Ando is the only character whose name has the same initials as Adam Monroe. - Adam Monroe appears to have a power, since the Company has a file on him. The writers have stated that Ando does not and will never have a power. - Ando seems to have no clue as to what's happening, whereas Adam Monroe appears significantly connected (In Heroes: the Mobile Phone game, Niki refers to him as one of the founders of the Company).
