Just an idea... include the realizations of these paintings on this page? --Riddler 17:42, 8 October 2007 (EDT)

  • It kind of depends on how well we see them realized. The Invisibility Series, for example, has great realizations for each and every painting. The Isaac Dead Series doesn't -- we know that all of them came true, but we don't have an angle for each and every painting, so it doesn't work on that page. So far, we could definitely do realizations on this page, but we need to be prepared for the eventuality that that might not be the case with all eight.--Hardvice (talk) 18:10, 8 October 2007 (EDT)

Symbol

Did Kaito land in a sort of symbol shape? It's a bit of a reach, but it's there if you want to see it: left arm and leg as the two sticky out bits, right arm as the single sticky out bit, right leg as the bottom curve and his head as an admittedly short top curve. -- FissionChips 13:15, 9 October 2007 (EDT)

West?

Claire is kissing someone in the background? West anyone??? But then again, it may just be West, and someone else killed Noah. Dean Harper 18:12, 9 October 2007 (EDT)

  • It's me. Sorry to spoil the mystery. --DocM 18:17, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
  • Thanks for the sarcasm. Dean Harper 23:49, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
    • If this painting is realized, whoever the killer is drops straight to my least favorite character. Ever. EVER. D: --AvadaNella 01:38, 10 October 2007 (EDT)

Confirmed?

Has it been confirmed that the subject of the photo is Noah? There is a fairly convincing theory that it is in fact Mr. Petrelli, due to his connection with the Group of twelve and his striking resemblance to Noah Bennet. Random guy 01:37, 23 October 2007 (EDT)

The Paintings!

OK, so we've seen the series of eight. Here's what we know:

  • 1/8 - Kaito Nakamura's death
  • 2/8 - Unclear (Dark background, I'll have to see a screencap) *UPDATE: Clair sprawled out on the steps after being dropped by West while humiliating Debbie in The Line. Hero25 7:46, 30 October 2007 (EDT)*
  • 3/8 - A hand holds a vial of clear liquid (similar to the variant Shanti virus Bob gave Mohinder earlier)
  • 4/8 - a Blonde woman (Niki?)angrily bangs on what looks like a metal wall or enclosure (a shipping container?)
  • 5/8 - A man with vacant eyes (Peter?), with another man in the background. Red at bottom left - maybe blood?
  • 6/8 - Hiro and Kensei do battle. Hiro appears to be attacking, since his blade is on top of Kensei's (and the blade of Kensei's is down, indicating a block)
  • 7/8 - Angry Mohinder shoots someone angrily
  • 8/8 - The death by gunshot of Noah Bennet, with a Blond in a short red dress (probably Clair) embracing someone entirely unseen

What does it all mean??? Tell me an expert out there has scans in the works, please! ZZ 23:51, 29 October 2007 (EDT)

  • I'll petition Tim Sale. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'll be asking, though. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:55, 29 October 2007 (EDT)
  • 3: Bob experimenting with the virus, or someone in the future experimenting with samples of the virus.
  • 4: Niki hitting a mirror because she cannot see Jessica (notice that there is no reflection)
  • 5: Peter looking through the glass shown at the end of The Line, during the preview of the next episode.
  • 6: As this happens, Hiro transports them both to the future, to avoid being killed.
  • 7: Mohinder shoots Bob, fulfilling the ripped photo threat to Bob.
  • 8: Noah is killed because he turns out to be a bad guy, killed by West, who is said to have found out that Noah is the Man in the Horn-rimmed glasses.

Rename

  • Shouldn't this article be called: Series of eight (paintings) ??? (Plural)--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:46, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
    • Probably. It matches the other series, but it's always kind of bothered me.--Hardvice (talk) 18:04, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
