Ian Quinn
- Are you sure it's a different actor? When I watched the unaired pilot I thought it was him, too. (Admin 14:54, 1 September 2007 (EDT))
- Yes. The actor is Michael Milhoan. I'm going through the credits right now. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 15:14, 1 September 2007 (EDT)
Ryan Email Contact
Ryan, do you have an email contact offsite? I want to send you something I put together for doing Heroes research that I think you will find useful, but it isn't something that really is appropriate or fitting for the Wiki itself. I can explain in more detail offline if you can tell me how to contact you. You can email me at HiroDynoSlayer@ Y~~A^H**O-O.c o m. To do pics
Check these out, see if they give you what you're looking for on the sylar/company gun Isaac request. http://www.heroes-pictures.com/displayimage.php?album=39&pos=502 http://www.heroes-pictures.com/displayimage.php?album=39&pos=503 --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 09/4/2007 16:25 (EST)
- They would work, but they're sort of the before and after pictures, and I'm hoping to grab something that actually shows it moving. I just have to sit down and go through the DVD, and I'm just being lazy, or at least being preoccupied with other things. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 18:38, 4 September 2007 (EDT)
End of the World
I see what you mean about the new page I made. Yes it is my first wiki ever, i know i know, but it never hurts to learn right?
for now, the page is just starting off. I plan on encompassing many of the popular RPGs on the site as well, not just EotW (or really Lost Volumes as it is really called). The page itself is just a work in progress and I do plan to work with the other RPers of the RPG section on 9thwonders to get some more content that is actually worth something. For now, it doesn't look like much, but as I said, i plan on changing that.
For now, the page is just one page for EotW. I plan on making it into one consolidated page for the other RPGs as well, just so we can convey what we really want to a little better.
Anyways, I hope that you can give us a little more time with the page to get it up to par. For now, it's not much, but as I learn I hope to make it a lil better.
Anyways, thanks for the heads up!--Requiem191 (talk) 22:46, 4 September 2007 (EDT)
- Well, no offense for trying, but here we avoid pages for fan sites and RPG's. --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 23:05, 4 September 2007 (EDT)
- Not quite, we do have a page called 'Links' in which we list various Heroes-based fan sites, interviews and related videos. I don't see anything wrong with adding a page for related RPGs, but I do think the page needs to moved to Requiem191's subpage until it is polished and for lack of a better phrase, more complete.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:19, 4 September 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, we don't create articles for other unofficial sites ususally, but RPGs are a different (and somewhat new) story (no pun intended). I'd like to see what kind of information we can collect for RPGs. At the very least they generate an alternate storyline that might lend itself to being documented well. But as MiamiVolts said, it just needs to remain a a subpage for now. (Admin 23:34, 4 September 2007 (EDT))
New Page Help
- I was just thinking about questions to ask Jason Badower and I thought we could make a page about connections between powers and personalities. Do you think that is a good idea? An example: D.L. is in jail and he has to escape, so what does he get? Phasing! Matt, just happens to read minds and he's a cop, which is a very good thing. Jessica is extremely violent and she is super strong. Hiro, has a boring job as an office worker, and gets the power to stop time. Do you see what I'm sort of going at? Anyway, I just thought of it. I'd have to think of more to add to the page than just what I just mentioned. Jason Garrick 21:22, 6 September 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, I know exactly what you're getting at. It's one of the very cool things about Heroes, and Tim Kring has said that over and over again, that the characters define the powers, and not vice versa. Claire is a teenager, and like many teenagers, she believes she's invincible. Candice hates her life, and her power is to create new illusions. Linderman is a medic in the army, and he can heal people instantly. Great stuff. I think it'd be best suited as a user subpage, something like "User:Jason Garrick/Powers". -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 22:34, 6 September 2007 (EDT)
Red links?
Do we have a page that lists all the pages with Redlinks? --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 09/8/2007 23:09 (EST)
- That would be a special page. Special:Wantedpages is probably closest to what you want, but you can check Special:Specialpages to view the others available. Special:Wantedpages has a link called # link(s) for each of the red links listed. You can click on those links to see a listing of what pages link to that red link. However, there is no one page that lists all the articles with redlinks on them.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:22, 8 September 2007 (EDT)
Sanjog Iyer/Iyer Sanjog
The kid that shows up in mohinder's dreams and later on the street is named "Iyer Sanjog" not "Sanjog Iyer." When Mohinder finds the file in his dad's office, it's labeled "Sanjog, Iyer": "last, first" -- like medical files are usually organized. (I just watched this episode yesterday; I haven't been thinking about this for months on end.)
It's wrong at IMDB also (which I know you have no control over); I would fix it here but there's links involved and I don't want to goof up the whole thing.
It's not a huge deal, I know, but I feel if there's an opportunity to be accurate vs. not, we may as well try to make it right...
- I know, it's really confusing. Here's my best explanation. The folder says "Sanjog, Iyer", but all other references to him are as "Sanjog Iyer". Check out this note for more information]]. IMDb credits him that way because that's the way he's listed during the end credits. Mohinder calls him "Sanjog Iyer", and that's good enough for me. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 09:42, 9 September 2007 (EDT)
3 Heroes
Hey, all. For those interested in hearing me blabber on, check out the latest 3 Heroes podcast. Emily and I ostensibly talk about the DVD, but we get sidetracked by Power Rangers, "Huggy Bear", and Little Women. Ignore my rambling, mic problems, and completely boring tirades. :) Here's the direct link. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 09:49, 9 September 2007 (EDT)
- Regarding the link to Odagawa's 3 Heroes Podcast interview in pdf, it's giving me a corrupted file that can't be opened when I download it. Can you check it out?--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:05, 10 September 2007 (EDT)
- I'll email Paul about it. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 23:07, 10 September 2007 (EDT)
- By the way, it was working for me when I read it yesterday, but now it's corrupted for me too. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 23:11, 10 September 2007 (EDT)
- Ok, thanx. BTW, did you check as to whether the Heroes Interactive is on the DVD? I just listened to the above 3 Heroes Podcast with you and Emily, and you both did a good job filling in the minutes with trivia :), but neither of you mentioned it. I think I might check out that Devil's Advocate podcast Emily mentioned... did you look into it yet?--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:23, 11 September 2007 (EDT)
- There's no HI on the DVD. Yeah, I checked out Devil's Advocate. Very entertaining. But I'm not podcast expert, I just enjoy hearing people talk, to be honest. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 05:37, 11 September 2007 (EDT)

- Listened to the podcast. Very nice. Sorry to hear about your Amazon problems. Even with the plain super saver shipping I got my DVD the day after it was out in the stores. ...and you'd love to be Bea Arthur, eh?
Lady Godiva was a freedom rider, she didn't care of the whole world looked. Joan of Arc, with the Lord to guide her, she was a sister who really cooked. Isadora was a first bra burner Aint' ya glad she showed up? And when the country was falling apart Betsy Ross got it all sewed up And then there's Ryan!
Hopefully you'll get that. :) (Admin 01:26, 11 September 2007 (EDT))
- Yeah, got it. Cute....Bea Arthur in her Mame days is ideal over her Golden Girls days, but I'll take either! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 05:37, 11 September 2007 (EDT)
Interview
- Do you think you'd be interested in trying to arrange an interview with Zachary Quinto? He's such a popular actor that it'd be great if we could interview him, though I suspect it'll be like the James Kyson Lee interview where you have to go through his agent. I'd interview him myself to save you the trouble, but honestly I think you're doing a much better job than I would do. If you're interested in pursuing an interview with him, I'd wait until after we see him in Season Two because I think he's been interviewed to death already and there won't be many original questions to ask him until after we see him again in the next season. (Admin 01:56, 12 September 2007 (EDT))
- We're on the same page, Admin. I have his contact information, but I've been holding off contacting him for the reason you stated above, and also because my life is getting a little busy with work starting again. There's only so many ways a guy can say "You'll have to wait until September 24" before it becomes too redundant--I agree, I'd rather wait until after the season is over (at least until sufficient time has passed) to contact him. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 05:47, 12 September 2007 (EDT)
Jason Badower and Mark Sable interview
- Did you get a chance to announce the interview over at 9th Wonders yet? I didn't come across it yet, but I didn't want to duplicate it if you had already mentioned it there. :) (Admin 12:42, 14 September 2007 (EDT))
- Funny: no, I haven't announced it there yet. I was going to head on over and do it in about five minutes. GMTA. But there are a few different threads that talk about Blackout. It might be a good idea if I announce it on one or two threads and you announce it in a spot I haven't. (I'm all about maximum exposure.) -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 14:09, 14 September 2007 (EDT)
