Character History
Run!
Hiro and Ando sneak into Gustavson's room disguised as hotel service staff to "retrieve" a showgirl's purse. Later, Gustavson releases Hiro from the closet where the showgirl — Hope — trapped him, and identifies himself as Nevada State Gaming Commission officer.
Unexpected
Gustavson pulls Hiro out of the closet at gunpoint and asks who Ando is. He asks him where Hope and the suitcase are. Despite some initial hesitation, Steve takes Hiro and drives to Primm, NV. In the car, Steve tells Hiro that partners only get in the way, that taking on a partner will bring blood on Hiro's hands, and that Ando Ando was the one that wanted to help Hope and took their car.
Steve Gustavson and Hiro arrive, and Steve tells Hope that he wants his share of the money. She fires, hits Steve's car, and Steve returns fire hitting Ando in the arm. When Hope's Ando-bound shot is stopped by Hiro, she recoils, giving Steve enough time for to tackle her. He and Hope are then separated and arrested by the Primm Police.
