In an emergency hospital in San Jose, Jason and Lauren discuss Kyle's injuries and fitting in. Lauren clutches Jason's hand, but is seen by Kyle, who gets mad and grabs Lauren, and stomps out. Outside, Lauren tries to end their relationship, but Kyle says that she doesn't have the right. Jason makes Kyle let go of Lauren, then shuts Kyle's mouth with his power. He tells Kyle that they need to talk.
