Vernon may be best known for her role as "Ellen Tigh" in Battlestar Galactica. Kate also appeared in Pink (as "Pretty"), Hostile Takeover, Mob Story, Who's the Boss?, Malcolm X, Dangerous Touch, Star Trek: Voyager, Confession, Safe Harbour, and Saving Grace.
Kate appeared in Battlestar Galactica with Rick Worthy and in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with David Berman.
