Joining a discussion

How do I join a discussion? Do I just go to the top of the page and press edit and then add my statement, or is there some special ritual I have to go through?

ROTC

Hi. I just read about you being in that program for four years, and I was wondering if you could tell me what it was like. A friend and I are considering joining after we graduate from school. Thanks in advance.--Citizen 00:11, 20 December 2008 (EST)

• There are different ROTC's or JROTC's for the different U.S. services: Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps. The Coast Guard also has a JROTC program at Mast Academy in Miami. If you're interested in the latter, let me know. I have some friends that went there, but not for the JROTC program. Good luck!--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:16, 20 December 2008 (EST)
• I was in the Air Force JROTC program all four years in high school and I thought it was terrific. There's no obligation and you learn a ton of useful things. It sounds like you're talking about ROTC, though, which I did not take when I got to college and is quite a bit different. (Admin 01:21, 20 December 2008 (EST))
  • Correct. I did 4 years of JROTC in high school, then got a scholarship for ROTC in college. In college, there's generally an obligation if you have a scholarship. If you don't have one, you can still join, but there's a point in the program where you have to make an obligation. Hello. :) I found this wiki through the NBC website, and i've noticed that there are a lot of articles in the translation queue on the Portuguese wiki. I don't know if there's someone already in charge of those translations, and i really like to help out.

And by the way, I think Betamax is a multiple account of somehow another blocked user using an IP address changer of somesort because he didn't even bother to create a userpage or even get a welcome sign on the discussion page (this is mostly what they do. About Mohinder's ability picture

You said you talked to the writers and the sticky goo was no longer a part of his ability. You also said he injected himself again. I only remember him injecting himself once and then being washed over with the completed genetic modification formula. I don't understand why the image with the sticky secretions won't work. He had them until he was washed over with the genetic modification formula. Mohinder's ability isn't his current ability. Enhanced strength is his current ability so of course he can no longer secrete the sticky cocoon-like substance. RGS said the image I suggested was fine. Please explain to me your reasoning and what the writers told you on my wall. --Bender 21:03, 4 April 2009 (EDT)

Webisode sidebar

Thanks for trying to fix the link. There's a separate parameter in the webisode sidebar template for the webisode video links. It's called "vid" and you need to specify everything after "http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/" for that parameter. I've fixed it for the first part of Nowhere Man. Absence as of late
