Madras, India is the fourth largest city in the country, with a population of nearly seven million. Largely industrial, it is considered the automobile capital of India. It is the former home of Chandra and Mohinder Suresh.

Officially, there's no longer a city named "Madras"; it's now known as "Chennai", thanks to a reform movement in India that is eliminating colonial names in favor of native ones. However, most of the major institutions, including the University of Madras, continue to use the original name.
