I know the Summer is supposed to be for lying by the pool and taking it easy, but the last few weeks have been crazy. I had the chance to go to Comic Con in San Diego which was a blast. There were a bunch of people dressed up in crazy costumes and sneak previews for some new movies and tv shows, as well as all my favorite comic book writers and artists of course. Overall San Diego is a cool city, everyone seems nice and minds their own business, it's a little different than Odessa, let me tell you. |

Hey everyone. Homecoming is next week and I'm really not as excited as I thought I'd be. With...everything that happened with Brody, I'm not exactly Miss Popularity anymore. I always sort of wanted to be Homecoming Queen, but now, it doesn't look like I'll even have a date. |

The Union Wells Wildcats (my "lovely" school) take on the Bears this week. It's an away game but everyone is going because it's a huge rivalry and all that. I can't say I'm a huge football fan or anything but I guess I'll go, mostly to support Claire. |

Our football team is practically worshiped which is fine if you go for that sort of thing, but it just sucks because a lot of the players let it go to their head and think they're invincible or something. Brody Mitchum, the quarterback, walks around like he owns the place. I honestly don't know why Claire gives him the time of day. From what I've seen and heard, he's a complete jerk. But enough bitching, I still gotta find that tape! <br> |

Okay, so I'm totally trying not to go insane right now (and failing miserably) :(. I lost a mini DV tape full of special effects stuff that I've been working on for a class project. Ms. Rogers is totally going to freak if I don't turn it on time.
