*Telepathy? Healing? Or something to the effect of memory restoration? I assume that would mean than on normal people he can make them remember things from a long time ago. Basicaly, it seems like Damian's power is to Enhanced memory as Healing Touch is to Rapid Cell Regeneration. One affects yourself constantly, while the other lets you temporarily give that to another person.--Piemanmoo 01:12, 20 October 2009 (EDT) |

Jeremy's Ability
This week's episode was perfect and especially hiro and peter's storylines. But, i think we should really change jeremy's ability from healing to biological manipulation, because linderman or ishi could kill with their ability. Biological manipulation is controlling the functions of the body, it fits his ability perfect. daevon 21:45, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- except his assignment tracker labeled him as a healer, and noah called him a healer even after finding out about jeremy being able to kill and heal, and he stated that it was a perfectly normal evolution for healers.Gamerelite1 21:48, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- His AT said that his ability was "Healing Touch" ~~IHH—Talk 21:50, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Maybe the ability is called Biological manipulation. I can see that more than "Healing", which makes it sound it can only heal.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 21:50, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- We'll go with the explicit name we were given, which is "healing touch". -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:51, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- But that's not explaining his ability. daevon 21:53, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- But It is calling it what it is explicitly stated as. The real question is whether or not to put it on the healing page as the same ability.
- It was called healing touch before they knew it could kill.--Boom D 83 22:04, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- As with any ability that grows, evolves, and changes, we go with the name that we are given, and we explain the differences and limits in the article itself. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:17, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- THANK YOU BoomerDay, thats exactly what i'm saying. They did not know his ability would evolve thats why they named it healing touch. daevon 22:18, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- I agree with Boomer and Daevon. They didn't know. And if the company still existed, they would probably rename it.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 22:20, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Sure they did. The Company knew about the Chinese woman who could also heal ... and kill. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:29, 19 October 2009 (EDT)

- Although I do think it should be called "Healing", Ryan, I gotta be the Devil's advocate here. The Company did know about that woman, but it's possible they didn't know Jeremy Greer had the same exact ability and didn't think it would evolve.--Riddler 01:28, 20 October 2009 (EDT)
- Ishi could not kill with her ability. daevon 22:41, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Not that we know of. Neither could Linderman. Not everybody's power evolves and changes. We've seen that with a number of powers that multiple people have--some change, some don't. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:03, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Ishi could not kill with her ability. daevon 22:41, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- When Knox's ability was shown to require other people's fears, we didn't assume it was a different ability from Nikki's. We just added on the page that his power works differently. I think for the Healing Touch page, we just mention in Jeremy's section that in certain circumstances he can drain life from people as well. Also, we should put an unnamed chinese woman with the ability under unconfirmed for it.--Piemanmoo 01:12, 20 October 2009 (EDT)
All the carnies are crazy
So they know who Sylar is, AND they want to bring him back? They are all begging for a split open forehead, and I almost want him to give it to them. Sylar cannot be controled, no matter what. Edgar is the only one who seems to realize that.--Ratclaws 22:08, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- I thought the same thing. I guess just desperate for a new family member.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 22:30, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Agree. We still really don't know what the "ultimate goal" is for Samuel and the carnival, and why it's so important to add family members. If they're willing to take in such an unstable and dangerous person as Sylar, it must be really important. I wouldn't want him around my kids! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:04, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
My head hurts...
So, did I miss the part where we skipped to 2009 in-universe?--Gibbeynator 22:12, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Why do you say that? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:17, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Oh, you're probably referring to the fact that Hiro jumps back three years. I'm pretty sure he's jumping back to 2004, not 2006. I can't say much more than that. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:18, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Another thing is that samuel said he had been hearing about sylar for years. Anyone else catch that? daevon 22:20, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Yeah, if we follow the timeline and assume it's still 2007, then Sylar would have only been active a year and a half at most.--Gibbeynator 22:21, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- If you'd heard rumors about "the most powerful one of all" for so long without ever meeting the person, you might also feel like it's been years. I wouldn't take that comment literally, and certainly not as an indicator that the timeline has suddenly jumped to 2009. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:26, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Maybe, maybe not. daevon 22:29, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Also Noah said he bagged and tagged Jeremy 3-4 years ago when he was 13. Since Jeremy was born in 1992 this would make him 13 in 2005 which is 2 years away from 2007 not 3-4 years.--Heroesfan110 22:31, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- I know I'm wrong about this, but maybe it's referring to the year but not duration (six months could be enough to go from year 2004 to 2005). Or maybe Hiro went back to a time where Charlie didn't know Hiro. We'll just have to see if Charlie recognizes Hiro or not. I'm not sure since I forgot what she had that would've killed her if it wasn't Sylar, but maybe her illness can be overcame if the doctors find it in the early stage. Maybe that's why Hiro went back 3 years. Otherwise how would Hiro be able to save her except from Sylar? --Dman dustin 22:42, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- But if Hiro saves Charlie from Sylar, he'll never take her power and never learn how to drive a truck and never get to Zane's house in time to meet Mohinder and season 1 falls apart!--Piemanmoo 01:12, 20 October 2009 (EDT)

Teddy's Ability
It didnt look much like the invisibility effects, maybe dynamic camoflauge. Maybe he was the one who hid the carnival in hysterical blindness. daevon 22:49, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Dimensional storage is what I got from it. Also, isn't there a evolutions ability of object displacement or something like that?--Ratclaws 23:04, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- It could be dimensional storage...but it's kind of a leap for us to say that Teddy put the box of supplies in another dimension. I'm not sure I'm comfortable making that leap. Plus, Tabula Rasa was written some time before a fan created the ability of dimensional storage, and even longer before it was featured in the iStory. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:07, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- I don't think he displaced the object or put it in another dimension. It seemed like "Object disappearance" or something to that effect.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 23:08, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Agree. That name doesn't seem speculative, either. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:31, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- I was right: Object displacement, held by dead company agent Sebastian Shell. It's cannon, but now that I think about it, dissappearance sounds better.--Ratclaws 23:35, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
- Well it could also be illusion. He could have made the box seem like it had dissapeared without it moving. If it did indeed move via another dimension or whatnot we should stick with Object displacment.--Piemanmoo 01:12, 20 October 2009 (EDT)
