Rachel Mills has been hired to work for Nathan. She looks at a battered Tracy and recounts how the day went. She had been broken the field training record and was congratulated by Moore, when Gibson showed up and asked her about what happened in Iran. After finding some strange barcodes on these websites, she contacts her buddy, Volts, a hacker, to help decode the barcodes. Volts tells Rachel that the bar codes contain the message, "Stop this, Rachel." However, suddenly, the lights go out and Rachel's communication with Volts is lost. She gets text messages from Rebel, who proves to know what Rachel can do by sending Rachel a video file of her at Pinehearst. Alex's surfing companions point Rachel in the direction of Liliane, an informant. Finally, Rachel and Jason head to Alex's apartment, where they find a laptop. However, Rebel, who has been warning Rachel to back off during the entire operation, deletes all the files on the laptop. When Rachel gets to the payphone where she is about to phone Danko to tell him that Claire is involved in Alex's escapes, Alex's father, Dave Woolsly, shows up and points a gun to Rachel's head, asking her what she's doing to his son. When Rachel tries to get away, Dave points a shotgun at her. Just then, a city-wide blackout occurs, and Rachel teleports to the rooftop of the building, away from the danger of Dave's shotgun.

Subject: It’s almost time

There are so many who need help. I try to find them first and give them clues and tips through websites and email, but it's not enough. Evs Dropper trusted you and asked for your help. Now I’m going to, too. I will tell you how to contact them, and you will help me decide who the real ones are, how to find them, and how to save their lives.

Watch for messages from Evs Dropper's Trojan intercept program. The government accidentally imported it when they started archiving the old Primatech files. It's how I found you. Now it will help us all by finding what we might miss.
