Just as the two are about to start an argument, Knox and Flint arrive and Peter flees. Claire's fearlessness quickly subsides when Knox and Flint tell her that it was her they were after, not Peter. Knox captures Claire, but Peter reappears, taunting Flint and tricking him into unwittingly [[Pyrokinesis|setting fire]] to a gas pipe, causing an explosion.
