Santiago fidgets with his soccer ball, and his mother tells him that his father was right--Santiago is a dreamer, but he can't go through life without direction. Meanwhile, Father Juan delivers a sermon about God's blessings, helping others, and about the hard times people are experiencing.

Elisa and Santiago talk to Iris in the church and Iris shows them her ability by using creating fire in the palm of her hand. Then, Santiago gets an instant message and leaves them, heading outside. When he leaves, a man calls the serious looking woman to let her know the target is approaching.
