When Hiro Nakamura teleports to the future New York, NY, he grabs a copy of 9th Wonders!, Issue #14, from a newsie.
Character History
Don't Look Back
Hiro Nakamura teleports himself from Tokyo, Japan to Times Square, New York, NY. Walking down the street, he greets many people in broken English. Suddenly, a comic book on a newsstand catches his eye — its front cover is him, shouting "Yatta!" in the middle of Times Square, just as he did a few minutes ago. Eagerly flipping through the comic, Hiro begins to read but is interrupted by the newsagent who wants him to pay. He tosses the man a thousand-yen note and sprints off.
