The British Broadcasting Corporation, or BBC is the English television network headquartered in the BBC Television Centre in London, it is also the largest worldwide broadcasting company in the world. The original British Broadcasting Company was founded in 1922 as a radio communication company. As television revolutionized the world, BBC began to broadcast television programs.

BBC began airing Heroes on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at 9:00 pm on BBC Two. Heroes Unmasked airs afterwards at 9:45 for a quarter of an hour, and then another episode airs on BBC Three at 10:00 pm. There is also a radio program on BBC 7 radio called Heroes The Official Radio Show with Jon Holmes, every Saturday at 7:30 pm. This program highlights what's been going on in the show in the UK, and listeners send in their theories. BBC Two will now be showing the second series of Heroes on Thursday at 9:00, then Heroes Unmasked for ten minutes and then the next episode on BBC Three, it starts again on the 25th of April 2008.

• The BBC has bought the rights to show the second series of Heroes in 2008 after the first series ends.
• During its time on the BBC, the average amount of viewers has been 4.1 million.
• Heroes first premiered in the UK on Sci-Fi UK, but the average amount of viewers was much less at only 450,000 viewers.
