Not knowning himself where he is from or even the names of his father and mother. The Company seems to know alot more about his past then he does, but this doesn't seem to stop him from searching for answers but making him even more curious. He is currently a priority one recruit for the company and every employe has been told to keep and watchfull eye to find him. He is currently on the search for his biological parents in America from a clue that he found in the local library records in Sweden, and was last seen in Brooklyn NY roaming the streets in search for answers. The clue that he got was the name of the airplan that brought him to Sweden from America "Linderman Corp." His past is clouded in mystery but he seems to want to be a good guy and help other people out that need help, so the company haven't really tried to capture him with force but rather try to recruit him into The Company. However finding Markus has been proven to be harder then we expected, even Noah Bennet is having problem finding him. It might be because his favorite transporation is teleportation and he never seems to use the same apperance twice out in the open
years tracked his heroics in everyday life, and there is no doubt that he is if full control of his abilities. He rather captures people alive and hand them over to the police then killing them in cold blood, he looks to justice even when people display none. He also uses his abilities responsibly for example he only get payed for saving and helping people out, but never been proved to use it to steal money from banks or influence people agains their will for his personal
gain.
