Theory:Maya Herrera

  • Why did you remove all the theory I've put?, and by the way, its a "fan" page, so there is no need of any permissions and stuff. Telepathy thoughts

Hey,

You said: "One person, one power, unless that power let's them copy/steal other's powers, also the show defines what it wants telepathy to be, and Bob said to Matt whatever the brain controls, he controls".

Who says that a person can only have one power? The show does not define what they want telepathy to be. And if Bob says Matt is controlling what the brain controls, then he would have what should be called mental manipulation, because telepathy is only communications, not control.

  • That's kind of what I'm saying. I believe their power is no longer just telepathy. It is something much more than that, and should not be called that. Since telepathy itself is defined as only communication through thoughts, saying they have telepathy is understating their powers. They have the ability to manipulate other's thoughts and mental processes. That's why I believe their powers should be called "mental manipulation". They can manipulate the thought processes (and memories in Arthur's case) of others. The Haitian shares the ability to manipulate memories by erasing them. And we don't know how he nullifies or suppresses other's powers, so I don't think that part of his power should be called mental manipulation. Maybe his power should be called "mental suppression" if we think he is altering their mental processes in order to stop others from using their abilities.

Recent Changes

When your checking Special:Recentchanges, you don't necessarily need to refresh the page (F5). You can click the time and date above all the changes where it says "Show new changes starting from," and that will show you all the changes that have been made since the last time you checked the changes. I'm not sure if you were already doing that or not, but you said that you refresh recent changes a lot, and I just want to show you an easier way if you didn't already know about it. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:11, 15 October 2008 (EDT)

• Thanks for noticing! And props to the idea of keeping theories in order, I'll do that from now on, instead of cutting/pasting in the front! (And yeah, I'm kind of a Flint fan, and am hoping that he'll end up a hero!) Also, is there a limit to the number of theories that one can post? And what about the nature of theories - I noticed a bunch of ones about waffles, out of all things - I assume they are meant to be serious, but CAN peach pie and waffles really be considered sworn enemies??   • Just a heads up. This is called a wiki whereas wikia refers to a specific brand of wiki hosted at wikia.com (and also to wikia.com itself). It's kind of like calling all tissues "Kleenex" (which some people also incorrectly do) when Kleenex is actually just a specific brand of tissue. :) (Admin 22:02, 16 December 2008 (EST))

  • who are you and WHAT did you change that I updated? March 2007 timeline page looks same?

  • Bridget had the power of PSYCHOMETRY, not sure who "defined" clairsentience for this wiki, but only person who comes close to this ability is Molly, and she can only locate people, so she's merely clairvoyant. Psychometry is the ability to know the history of an object by touching it, which is what Angela explained Bridget's ability as, not to mention the previous 'correspondence' between Bridget and Mohinder.

    • There's no reason to be rude. Intuitive Empath was merely doing his job as a member of the Wiki. Plus, as I'm sure you've been made aware of, "clairsentience" is a canon name, which means that the name comes from the show itself (see Talk:Clairsentience for the naming citation). It also has its roots in near-canon material. Additionally, clairsentience is defined as "a form of extra-sensory perception wherein a person acquires psychic knowledge primarily by means of feeling." This is exactly what Bridget did. Double spaces after punctuation

Admin stated to me that it does not matter whether we use one or two spaces, and has stated that he will continue to use two spaces himself. But since you keep deleting my changes, and since the standard appears to be drifting towards one space anymore instead of two, I agree to go with one space so we can keep the pages neat and orderly. Re:My theory

  • There's a lot of plot holes in the whole storyline, and plus, Paulette Hawkins' death is on graphic novel anyway and the TV writers dont really emphasize the stories from GNs.

Additionally, We don't know anything around the different storylines. Like, Meredith, dowe know she created the Train Wreck? In HRG, do we know he was talking to Elle before he rode on Mohinder's cab? In Arthur, do we know there's still an additional scene in the hospital where Heidi got crippled? No. Because we a lot of plotholes are not even really being shown in the first episodes of the story. And my theory could be similar to that.

And anyways, its a theory and everybody is welcome to contribute. And its completely valid theory anyways, its not like its Mr. Muggles' theory--NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 19:05, 28 December 2008 (EST)

Hey, IE. How would you like to be a patroller here? I've been impressed with your edits that always make Heroes Wiki consistent, and I also like the edits you've been making to the Theory pages.
