Benjamin "Knox" Washington is one of the new villains for Volume Three.
Spoilers
- 7/4 NEW! -- Knox appears in this preview wearing a straight-jacket in a holding cell.
- 1/4 -- According to LAist, Jamie Hector will join the cast as Benjamin "Knox" Washington. Jamie has already shot a few episodes prior to the writers' strike.
- 12/16 -- At the Jules Verne Film Festival, two sneak peeks of Volume 3: Villains were shown. Knox is briefly seen in one of them attacking a police officer and looking at his own hand, with some substance on it.
- 10/9 -- SpoilerTV publishes a casting call description for Knox. Information includes his age (25), that he is a "frightening and intense" African-American officer "with the eyes of a predator". Knox has returned to New Orleans with "plans to reclaim the criminal territory he used to run before he was sent to prison. This recurring character will appear in episodes thirteen and fourteen, and "possibly more to come".

- Knox's ability will be one of the following:
- Alchemy
- Enhanced speed
- Phasing
- Induced Acidity (Could have burnt into the officer's stomach)
- A new ability that allows the user to mimic metallic substances, like the Silver Surfer and Colossus
- Knox is the leader of the gang that kidnapped Monica, so he'll track her and Micah down to tie up loose ends.
- Knox will have the ability known as lycanthropy and will be able to turn in to a were-lion.
