Amanda receives a message from Lydia, "Where are you? Please". She watches Jennie Bowman exhale fire and, impressed, asks Caleb if everyone in the carnival is like her. Caleb says yes, commenting that "Samuel has made quite a family" and touches Amanda's shoulder. Edgar appears, holding a knife at Caleb's throat. He tell him to get his hands off Amanda and tells her to go back to Lydia. As Amanda goes away,
Edgar follows Amanda to Lydia's trailer. She knocks on the door, and Samuel opens.
