Jessalyn Gilsig is the Canadian film and television actress who portrays Meredith Gordon, Claire Bennet's birth mother.
About
Jessalyn acted in a number of small roles beginning in the late 1990s, but it wasn't until the 2000s that she gained notoriety. In 2002, she had her first major starring role in the series Boston Public as "Lauren Davis". In 2003, she began appearing the television series Nip/Tuck as "Gina Russo", the destructive love interest of main character "Christian Troy". While still an active character on Nip/Tuck, she has had recurring roles in two other series, NYPD Blue and Prison Break. More recently, Jessalyn took recurring roles in Backyards and Bullets and Glee.
Jessalyn has appeared alongside other members of the Heroes cast in Snoops (with Graham Beckel), Boston Public (with Christina Haag and John Thaddeus), and Nip/Tuck (with David Barrera, Ashley Crow, Ivonne Coll, and John Prosky).
